As Ulemas and Scholars of the whole country requested Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to accept the leadership of TNFJ, Agha Moosavi reiterated his wish to keep working for the protection of the national rights without holding any designation. Hearing this response from Agha Moosavi, Allama Sajid Naqvi appealed to Agha Moosavi to take command of the nation by accepting TNFJ’s leadership for the sake of Chadar-e-Zahra (PBUH and Her progeny), or otherwise, he would complain against him on the day of Judgment. On this appeal, Agha Moosavi agreed to accept TNFJ’s designation on condition of taking acceptance and endorsement of his leadership from the whole nation, in an open forum. And then on 9th and 10th of February 1984, the biggest Shia convention of the history of Pakistan was conducted at Dina under the auspices of Senior Azadar Agha Syed Sardar Ali Jan Badshah. The convention was presided over by Ustad-ul-Ulema Hazrat Ayat-ullah Syed Zameer ul Hassan Najafi and the great scholar of Islam, Khateeb -e- Aal -e- Muhammad Allama Syed Azhar Hassan Zaidi Sahib. Matamis, Azadars, religious scholars and Ulema from every corner of the country, participated in this Ghadiri convention demonstrating their acceptance and solidarity with the leadership of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Participants of the convention also resolved to give all kinds of sacrifices if ordered by Agha Moosavi for the protection of their national rights. Watching Agha Moosavi taking the driving seat of Millat-e-Jafariya caused tremors in the corridors of power that alarmed the dictator and his crooked colonial companions because Agha Moosavi was the man who had challenged and confronted attempts to corner Maktab-e-Tashayyo, before anyone else. Enemies of Islam did not like to see the command of Millat-e-Jafariya in the hands of a pious and honest person deeply trusted by the whole nation. Therefore, a group of people motivated by General Zia ul Haq’s scheme met and announced another leader in parallel. Agha Moosavi ignoring these kinds of digressions kept struggling for the protection of basic ideology and national rights. Agha Moosavi also repeatedly invited those who had separated themselves from rest of the nation, but they ignored his appeal. |
