“Momin” keeps an eye on the future; Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi foresaw the whole situation beforehand. On one hand, armed with plenty of finances and Chankia’s tactics, the colonial powers were putting their evil designs into action, while on the other hand,  Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi was pondering about all possible ways to counter this heinous conspiracy.

At this historic moment, Agha Hamid Ali Moosavi wrote a letter to the great scholar and Marja-e-Aali Qadar of Islam, Ayatullah al Uzma Baqir-us-Sadar Shaheed, explicating the regional situation and seeking guidance related to the matters of implementation of Islam, and protection of the rights of Millat-e-Jafariya.  In response to the letter of Quaid-e-Millat Agha Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Ayatullah Baqir us Sadar not only stressed the need to make our governments understand the fundamentals and structure of Islamic system, but also endorsed the leadership skills of Agha Moosavi by the following comments:

“I truly appreciate and value your initiative to take responsibility for highlighting the history of your great motherland and to work for the implementation of the actual fiqh-e-Islamia”

After strengthening his control on the government by eliminating the democracy, General Zia ul Haq (the dictator supported by the colonial powers) started working towards achievement of the targets set by his foreign commanders. --- In 1979, launching the first attack on the basic ideology of Pakistan, General Zia ul Haq announced his plans to make Pakistan a sectarian state. In response to this announcement, following the footsteps of Imam Hussain ibn-e-Ali (A.S), Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, (who was extensively monitoring the whole situation and had also taken guidance from Maraaj-e-Uzzam) strongly rejected this announcement. This was the first voice raised against the immoral decision of a despot ruler; when speaking to a jam packed press conference at Ali Masjid Rawalpindi, Agha Moosavi confronted the heinous objectives of the dictator, and made it clear that no one would be allowed to corner any of the two established sects of Islam, i.e. Shias and Sunnis.
