During 1986, when Nawaz Sharif was the chief minister of Punjab, twenty six Imam Bargahs were set ablaze in Lahore. On this occasion, Quaid -e- Millat -e- Jafariya visited Lahore and announced the creation of Mukhtar Force to protect Sha’air Allah. A short time later seventy two students of Sarwar Shaheed (Nishan-e-Haider) College Gujarkhan, founded Mukhtar Students Organization (MSO) and met with Quaid -e- Millat -e- Jafariya to have it endorsed. Quaid -e- Millat endorsed the organization, and made it a sub organization of TNFJ. In order to defeat Pakistan People Party on the wishes of Dictator Gen. Zia ul Haq, in 1988 some miscreants announced participation in elections using the name of Millat -e- Jafariya in Quran o Sunnat conference of Lahore. Hundreds of Magistrates were appointed by the government to make this conference successful. Rather than falling into the trap of the dictator, Quaid -e- Millat -e- Jafariya clearly announced that politics is not separate from Deen (Islam). Taking part in elections on the basis of sects is like a poison for the nation and motherland, therefore TNFJ would not appoint its election candidates. This way, because of his wisdom and foresight, Quaid -e- Millat -e- Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi defended the basic ideology and solidarity of the nation by repelling the last attack of dictator Zia ul Haq who had wanted to divide the Pakistani nation into sects and groups, so that the nation lost its solidarity as one nation and the basic ideology of Pakistan was obliterated. Those who participated in elections on sectarian grounds had to face miserable defeat. Their attempt to convert the power of Millat -e- Jafariya into weakness not only failed, even the deposits of their candidates were lost while the election policy given by TNFJ remained successful. ******** ******* ************* *********
During the decade of 1980s, after the Russian intervention in Afghanistan, seeds of terrorism were sown in Pakistan. Riots were created in sensitive areas followed by a series of target killings. The dictator made all attempts to portray the problem of terrorism as sectarianism however, Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya announced that personal benefits of miscreants and external funding were flaming the issue of terrorism. Shia and Sunnis are tied in a strong bond of brotherhood and no one in the world can disintegrate their solidarity. He also demanded and guaranteed that if a ban was imposed on foreign funding of the terrorist organizations using the name of religion as a cover, terrorism would vanish from the face of our beloved motherland.
