A Question to media-------A grave point of concern for the world of journalism!!

Imagine for a moment, that how would you feel if the grave of your mother has been bulldozed by a feudal lord, and instead of registering your complaint; the police officer is enjoying a feast at the place of the same lord. You run towards the media to get your voice of protest heard, but only to find out that media is more interested to cover cattle shows or a film award program than giving coverage to the voice of an oppressed. ----What sort of comments you are going to have on this kind of journalism? ------

And if the bulldozed graves belonged to the Prophet’s mother, pious wives and daughter, along with the graves of Prophet’s progeny,… then?????

On the day of 8th Shawal, which according to the call of Quaid-e-Millat-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, is commemorated as Youm-e-Inhidam-e-Jannat ul Baqee, Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Fiqh-e-Jafariya held mourning processions in Aabpara Islamabad, Rawalpindi press club, Karachi press club, Lahore press club, Faisalabad Press club, Hazara Town Peshawar, Qissa Khuwani Peshawar together with other parts of the country however,

Pakistan’s largest newspaper daily Jang remained fully quiet. Similarly, Quaid-e-Azam’s newspaper daily Dawn, PTV news, ARY news, Duniya news, Waqt news, Express news, Dawn news, Aaj TV kept themselves unaware of these events.

Those who use to broadcast breaking news on the sound of a small cracker, did not even ran a small news ticker of a single line, despite a procession of more than a hundred thousand people on Murree Road alone. What could we do If the holy Prophet, Shafi-e-Mehshar ignored us on the day of judgment. Is not it a concern for media organizations?

Leaving aside the tombs of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal, even if the graves of Sir Abdullah Haroon, Mirza Abul Hassan Isfahani, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Benazir Bhutto, Mian Shareef, Mir Khalil ur Rehman, Hameed Nizami, Professor Waris Mir, or Shorish Kashmiri, are demolished, then what would the reaction of Bilawal, Bakhtawar, Hussain Nawaz, Hamza Shahbaz, Mir Shakeel, Majeed Nizami, Hamid Mir, Agha Masood Shorish, or Agha Haroon family?----- what if their cries are not heard even by their own newspapers and channels??? -------- What would Najam Sethi, Professor Irfan Siddiqui, Abbas Athar, Dr. Shahid Masood, Naseem Zahra, or Talat Masood say about it? …. Any comments from Haji Abdul Razzaq Yaqoob, Dr. Amir Liaqat, Mujeeb ur Rehman Shami, Ataa ul Haq Qasmi, Arif Nizami, Nazeer Naji, Mahmood Shaam, Ansaar Abbasi, Hassan Nisar ??? …….

Being a Muslim and as a part of the ummah of the Holy Prophet, we are going through the same situation.

Jannat ul Baqee is not a Shia or Sunni problem, but it is related to the whole mankind. The editor of Comrade News paper Moulana Muhammad Ali Jauhar, Maulana Shaukat Ali, and Maulana Hasrat Mohani were not Shias who had vowed not to take rest unless the holy shrines are fully protected. ----- The voice of Agha Shorish Kaashmiri who was a follower of Rasool deoband, is still echoing in the air, indicating the reasons of our problems.

Who is going to listen to our cries about the daughter of nation Afiya Siddiquee when we are quiet on the disrespect of the Holy Prophet’s daughter, mother and pious wives?

Do we need to ask chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary to take suo moto action against this role of fourth pillar of the state?

Sincerely,

Sardar Tariq Ahmad Jaafree
