Special Message of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi  in connection with Shahadat of Sadiq e aale mohammad Imam Jaffar bin mohammad (as)

“Allah Says in Quran Majeed: “And when they became steadfast and believed firmly in Our revelations, We appointed from among them leaders who guided by Our command.”(Surah Al-Sajdah Ayah 24). This Ayah of Quran Majeed states the real concept of Wilayat and Imamat i.e. that personality could be placed at the pedestal of Imamat who is patient and believes in Ayat-e-Illahi. It indicates that whereas the Imam and Wali has to be patient, at the same time he should also have belief in the signs of Allah. Such a person could be the one who is laced with knowledge, authority, chastity, and piousness, is away from all types of ignorance, misguidance, illiteracy and impiety. Because he provided guidance from commandments of Allah that proves that Imam is the source between world creatures and Amar. That is why Allah says that search for a source to reach Me. Mufassar-e-Quran Maulana Farman Ali (Late) explains this Ayah in these words that conditions of Hazrat Musa (A.S.) and Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) are similar. Musa (A.S.) was gifted with Torah while Quran was sent on Rasool (SAAW). Both were asked to wage jehad. One sought Haroon as his deputy requesting Allah while the other made Hazrat Ali (A.S.) as his deputy on the commandment of Allah. One achieved victory on Pharoeah while the other over atheists of Quresh. He further writes that according to Torah, 12 deputies provided guidance while Allah Has talked about it two ways “Wa Qatahna Hum Asna Ashar Asbata Wa Ba’asna Minhum Asna Ashar Naqeeba”. Similarly, there are 12 Khalifates and Aaimma for Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) who are providing guidance and would continue providing the same according to Quran. This Ayah indicates towards that meaning. Allama Zamkhashri writes in his Tafseer-e-Kashaaf that “Similarly, We Will make the Book sent to you a source of guidance from top to bottom and Will make Aaimma from your Ummah in the same fashion who will provide guidance in a similar fashion. Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) is one of those 12 Aaimma. Thus Sahib-e-Yanabeeh writes that Abu Abdullah Jafar-e-Sadiq is Sadaat-e-Ahle Bait (A.S.) from amongst Aaimma Ahle Bait (A.S.). Muslims agree on his fanfare, honour and valued leadership (Yanabeeh, page 319). Thereafter he says that Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) was the man of broad knowledge and partronising. It is not possible to count his Fazail-o-Munaqib (page 321). Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq’s (A.S.) father was Imam Muhammad Baqar (A.S.) while mother was Fatima known as Umme Farwa Binte Qasim Bin Muhammad Bin Hazrat Abi Bakar (R.A.). The granddaughter of Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique enjoyed a high status amongst women of her era. This honourable woman achieved training from the Maktab of Imam Zainul Abideen (A.S.) and the Maktab of Imam Muhammad Baqar (A.S.). That is why Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) while praising her said that my mother was from amongst those women who were symbols of Iman and Taqwah. No doubt, Allah likes those who carry out good deeds. Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) set up Hoza Ilmia in Madina Munawwarah when he got a chance to preach and disseminate knowledge at a time when Banu Ummayad and Banu Abbas were entangled with each other. Thousands of pupil benefited from the knowledge about Fiqh, Tafseer-e-Quran, Ilm Al-Kalam, history and chemistry. That is why Ulema quoted Ahadees in a large number from him as compared to others Imams. Sahib-e-Kashaf Al-Ghamah writes that Ashab-e-Hadees has written the number of Ahadees during his era as 4,000 and the Kitaab-e-Usool that were set by the Ahadees tellers of Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) stand at 400 books. His Imamat has been accepted by all without any discrimination. From amongst his pupils Jabir Bin Hayan is considered the forefather of Chemistry who prepared very useful prescriptions and wrote more than a hundred books. As per Sixes Mayor Half his impression is seen on the western chemists. The translations of Jabir’s books were made in many eastern and western languages. The terminologies created by him are being used even today. Jabir has stated mothods of colouring leather, making use of metals, saving iron from being rusted, and prepare waterproof cloth, etc. These things enjoy prime importance in this industrial era. These good services rendered by Jabir Bin Hayan before many centuries ago are self-explanatory proof of his exemplary art expertise.

Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) remained busy in preaching education and guidance and did not care of any harassment at the hands of oppression, brutality, tyrant rulers, dictators and oppressor in fulfilling this Godly duties. He remained firm against the floods and tycoons of oppression and brutality so as to achieve promotion of Shariat-e-Muhammadi and Alvi thinking and protect the same from any changes. He utilised all his energy in doing so and defended Islam like a true leader with firmness and dauntless efforts. He always played the role of Sad-e-Sikander in saving the people from evil thinking, and ideologies. Intelligentsia belonging to recognised schools of thought have accepted his supremacy and guidance.

1.                           Dr. Hamid Hanafi writes in the preface of Kitaab Imam Al-Sadiq that I am carrying out research of Fiqh and Uloom-e-Islami for the last two decades, the pious son of Khanwada-e-Risalat Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) attracted me towards him. I have the ideological conclusion that he is amongst the creator leaders of all Uloom-e-Islami. He is from amongst those past responsible thoughtful personalities and intelligentsia, who remained the central point of attention according to all intelligentsia belonging to Shia and Sunni thoughts.

2.                Ibne Abi Al-Auja, a renowned Manazir, paying tributes to him says, If an spiritual personality exists on earth that could appear in the human shape, then he is Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) (Kitaab Mallal……..)

3.      The renowned Ustad of Ilm Kalam, Hassan Bin Washah says that I had seen more than nine hundred teachers in the Kufa mosque who were all saying that Jafar Bin Muhammad (A.S.) has stated Hadees to us (Majalis Syed Ameen, edition 5, page 205).

4.                Hazrat Imam Abu Hanifa states that I have not seen more Faqih than Imam Jafar Ibne Muhammad (A.S.). One day, I had laid down 40 important questions on the desire of Mansoor Abbasi so that these all are presented in a session in the court of Mansoor and where Imam (A.S.) was presented and asked to reply these questions. When I presented questions before Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) in the court of Mansoor, he gave complete replies to all 40 questions in a manner that the people present in his court praised his capability of being the most scholarly human being and that he knows of differences, opinions and sayings more than anyone else (Manaqib Abu Hanifa, edition 1, page 183).

5.                            Imam Al-Hadees and Fiqh of Ahle Sunnat, Malik Bin Anus says that during the days when I used to visit Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.), I used to see the Imam (A.S.) in one of three conditions i.e. busy in saying prayers or in fast or busy in reciting from Holy Quran. I have not seen anyone more knowledgeable and superior than Imam Jafar Bin Muhammad Al-Sadiq (A.S.) in Zhud and worship. (Tehzeeb, edition 2, page 104).

A Christian scholar Samir Danishkadah Mubahis Sharqi Misr writes about such a great personality that a person who gets busy in scholarly and thoughtful analysis without any racial, lingual and Maktabi biases following the new scholarly principles about Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.), he should have to accept that the personality of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) is such a symbol that keeps complete confidence in his person, who is the founder of many innovations, and the collection of new thoughts and commandments that have shown new and modern paths to humanity (Muqaddimah Kitaab Alhaft). A few golden sayings of Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.):

1.                      Allah spoiled six groups owing to their six habits. Rulers for oppression and brutality, Arabs for misconception, farmers for self-interest, traders for mistrust, villagers for ignorance, and fuqaha for jealousy.

2.                        Best person is the one who is laced with five qualities: be happy when does something good, seeks forgiveness when commits sin, thanks Allah when gets blessed, shows patience when in trouble, forgives when someone commits excess.

3.                         Three qualities are recognised at three places: Dignified person in rage, not recognising brother but when in need, not recognising brave but during the war (Baharul Anwaar, edition 78).

Today, the Islamic World is undergoing colonial aggression. Life of people of Palestine and Kashmiris is being made difficult, there is conflict in Iraq and Afghanistan, motherland is the target of enemies the basic reason of which is lack of unity of the Islamic World and negation of justice and fair-play. In such a situation we should have to make our deeds accountable and should correct our religious, moral, educational and thoughtful condition, should give up duplicity in our words and deeds and should forget all types of biases because those who are men of Taqawah are liked most by Allah. Every Peshwa and Hadi of ours achieved the honour of Shahadat by preaching the invaluable message of Allah’s commandments but did not bow down before the evil or backtracked from the righteous path. Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) also kissed Shahadat on 15 Shawal, and according to other sayings on 25 Shawal, 148 Hijra following in the footsteps of his forefathers. On the occasion of Universal Ashra Sadiq Aal-e-Muhammad in connection of Shahadat of this great personality, we present condolences to the followers of Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) and spiritual friends and commit that we would not bow before the international colonial powers by following in the footstep
