Implementation of the National
Action Plan must be ensured to turn Pakistan into a hub of peace

To turn Pakistan into a hub of peace, the implementation of the
National Action Plan is absolutely essential, said Allama Agha Syed
Hussain Maqdasi. He emphasized that in relations with the United
States, Pakistan must avoid imbalance and instead pursue wisdom,
mutual understanding, and defensive agreements with neighbouring
Muslim countries under the spirit of Islamic brotherhood.
He stated that there should be zero tolerance toward any threat to
the integrity and security of the nation. Those who glorify
proscribed elements are insulting the sacred blood of the martyrs of
the nation. The sanctity of the blood shed in defense of Pakistan’s
borders is a national trust that can never be compromised.
Allama Maqdasi declared that the exalted character of Lady Zainab
(peace be upon her) reflects the domain of divine purity and
spiritual authority and stands as the central axis of the survival
of Hussainiyat. The Mujahida of Karbala, the Heroine of the
Revolution, Zainab bint Ali, became the shining sun of Bani Hashim’s
courage, valor, and fortitude on the battlefield of Karbala.
The daughter of the Lady of Paradise, Fatima Zahra (peace be upon
her), raised her hands in prayer among the bodies of the martyrs of
Karbala and proclaimed “O Allah, accept this sacrifice,” a cry that
left the souls of the Prophets and Messengers astonished and
overwhelmed.
He expressed these views while addressing the first session of the
*“Aqeela Bani Hashim Conference”* held at *Imambargah Qasr-e-Imam
al-Muntazar, DHA near Highway, Islamabad, organized by the **Mukhtar
Organization Pakistan* in commemoration of the blessed birth of *Hazrat
Zainab bint Ali (peace be upon her)*.
Allama Maqdasi stated that the life example of Lady Zainab (peace be
upon her) and Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (peace be upon him) are the path
to salvation and the way to paradise. He further said that mourning
for Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) is a sacred trust of Lady
Zainab and Imam Zain-ul-Abideen, and not even a hair’s breadth
deviation from it, is acceptable.
He affirmed that they would continue to follow the will and guidance
of the spiritual leader and head of the Shia nation, *Agha Syed
Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, and would offer every sacrifice with **Zainabi
determination* for the defense of *Azadari* (mourning of Imam
Hussain).
Allama Maqdasi said that understanding the character of Lady Zainab
teaches the path of patience and gratitude. The Zainabi character,
he said, is a radiant torch for seekers of truth.
He added that Lady Zainab, through her sermons in the courts of
Yazid and Ibn Ziyad, forever disgraced the enemies of the Prophet’s
household. The sermons of the Aqeela Bani Hashim reflected the tone
of Haider-e-Karrar (Imam Ali) and the resolve of Hazrat Abbas (peace
be upon him).
Allama Maqdasi concluded by saying that Lady Zainab is that great
personality who became the pride of Imam Ali even in the presence of
Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain (peace be upon them). He vowed that the
safety, integrity, and honor of Pakistan remain dearer to them than
