Indian court’s unjust verdict of life-imprisonment for Hurriyat leader Yaseen Malik is challenge for the honor of Muslim Ummah - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, May 27: Terming the Indian court’s unjust verdict of life-imprisonment for Hurriyat leader Yaseen Malik as challenge for the honor of Muslim Ummah, the Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that India is having false hopes, as Yaseen Malik’s punishment will only intensify the Kashmir’s freedom struggle that will not be stoppable by Modi’s atrocities. Islamic world must stop separating itself from Kashmiris and adopt a common strategy on Kashmir and Palestine. Those dying to have friendly ties with India must not wet their hands with the blood of Kashmiris. UN must stop treating Kashmiris as step children. Hazrat Imam Jafar e Sadiq (A.S) made untiring efforts to propagate Islamic teachings and transformed Masjid e Nabvi in Medina and Kufa’s Masjid e Kufa into universities where he taught thousands of students to found a movement of knowledge and ideologies. Madrassah’s associated with these universities had countless people engaged in teaching different forms of knowledge. Imam Jafar e Sadiq’s martyrdom is a great tragedy for knowledge which is being mourned by the faithful followers of Risalah and Ahl ul Bait (A.S) even today. On the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Jafar e Sadiq (A.S) on Friday, 25^th of Shawwal, special prayers must be made for eradication of challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah, resolution of long pending problems, glory of Islamic world, success of Raddul Fasaad and freedom movements of Kashmir and Palestine. He said this while addressing to the provincial members of Ashra e Sadiq e Aal e Muhammad (PBUT) Committee for Punjab led by TNFJ Punjab’s Nazim ul Amoor Allama Mohsin al Hussaini and President Allama Hussain Muqadasi.

Agha Moosavi noted that India has imposed multiple wars right from occupying Kashmir to disintegrate Pakistan. India did not only test nuclear bombs to keep Pakistan under pressure but also abetting terrorists against Pakistan as clearly proven by the arrest of dangerous Indian spy Kulbhoshan Yadev’s arrest. Agha Moosavi said that India has never accepted Pakistan whole heartedly rather continuously engaged in hatching conspiracies against Pakistan. Kashmiris lives have become miserable, thousands have sacrificed their lives while more are imprisoned and bearing Indian torture in different jails while Kashmiri women are being raped. Therefore, international organizations that claim to be the champions of Human Rights must ensure to stop Indian atrocities, deliverance of legitimate rights of Kashmiris and Palestinians, and implementation of UN resolutions as per aspirations of the people or otherwise, the dream of peace will never be realized.

Offering condolences to the followers of Islam, Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid AlI Shah Moosavi said that martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Jafar e Sadiq (A.S) happened on 25^th Shawwal and according to some narrations 15 Shawwal 148 AH during the era of Caliph Mansoor Abbasi. It was an era when speaking truth was difficult as it is termed as the era of conspiracies. Hazrat Imam Jafar e Sadiq (A.S) accepted to kiss martyrdom but did not bow his head before evil. The grave of Imam Jafar e Sadiq (A.S) is situated in Jannat al Baqi alongside his grandmother the lady of heavens Syeda Fatima Zahra (S.A) and his grandparents Hazrat Imam Hassan (A.S), Imam Ali Zain ul Abideen (A.S) and father Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqir (A.S).
