Eid ul Fitar is the carrier of Allah’s blessings, a moment of acceptance of prayers and demonstrator of Muslim unity - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, May 2: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Eid ul Fitar is the carrier of Allah’s blessings, a moment of acceptance of prayers and demonstrator of Muslim unity. It must be celebrated with the spirit of eradication of hate and malevolence and supporting the oppressed. Our Eids are dedicated to the protectors of Islam and Pakistan right from the Shaheed of Masjid e Kufa to the fronts of Waziristan and Balouchistan and all oppressed people of the world including that of Kashmir and Palestine. Eid ul Fitar is not a day of unethical amusement and display of wealth. Fasting of only those will be accepted who will serve the poor and oppressed. Politicians must also act upon the philosophy of Ramzan and Eid. Intensifying conflict on the horizon is not a good omen. Politicians and rulers must demonstrate wisdom. After waging an open war in Balochistan, our eternal enemy has increased the frequency of attacks on our national security while disintegrating the nation from within. Pakistan’s peace has been nurtured by the blood of the members of Pakistan’s armed forces and security institutions. Political fights must not accuse national institutions. The oppressed people of Kashmir, Palestine, Burma, Bahrain, Qateef and Yemen must not be forgotten during Eid. Congregations of Eid must express solidarity with the oppressed. He said this in his special message of Eid ul Fitar that will be celebrated in Pakistan and rest of the world with religious respect and fervor.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the holy Prophet of Islam stated that on the first day of Shawwal, a heavenly voice announces that O believers, run towards your gifts. Then the holy Prophet said O Jabar! The gift of God is not like the gifts of worldly kings and rulers. Then stated that the first day of Shawwal is the day of Godly gifts. Agha Moosavi noted that Ameer ul Momineen Hazrat Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S) said in his sermon about Eid ul Fitar that O people! Eid ul Fitar is a day when pious people will find the fruits of their good deeds, while those who committed sins during Ramzan will be the losers and deprived. This day resembles with the day of Qayamat (i.e. the day of judgement). When you come to Eidgah from your houses, then imagine that time when you will come out of your graves to go to Almighty Allah, and when you stand for Namaz of Eid, then imagine when you will be standing in front of Allah, and while going back to your homes after the Namaz, remember the time when you will be proceeding to your destinies and remember your destiny at that time must only be the heaven. O people! The least thing that will be awarded to the fasting men and women will be that an angel will call on the last day of Ramadan and announce that O people of God, I give you the good news that your previous sins have been forgiven therefore, just think about ahead that how will you spend rest of your life. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the real Eid is for those who acted upon the philosophy of Ramadan and filled their laps with the countless blessings of God. If the Muslim Ummah adopts the lessons of Ramadan for the whole year then every day can become an Eid day. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi prayed that Allah blessed the Muslim Ummah to take benefit of the powers of sympathy for poor and destitute, unity and purity that has been obtained during Ramadan, for the whole year.
