Protest demonstrations, prayer gatherings were held and candles were lit in memory of the Shuhada.

Agha Moosavi, while addressing a prayer meeting at Headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo said that the Pakistani nation, which grew up in the shadow of Hussainiyyat, could not be intimidated by martyrdom and attacks on Pakistan’s Armed Forces, and increase in terrorism. He said raising the head by proscribed and Takfiri parties is a part of conspiracy. He said the holy blood of the martyrs is the cause of strengthening the guardians of the country and the nation. He said the happiness expressed on the Indian media has unveiled the heinous face of our eternal enemy. He said the United Nations and international powers should stop India from interfering in Pakistan's territory. Banned parties are facilitators of terrorists with whom apologetic attitude is treason with blood of martyrs and salting of wounds of heirs of martyrs, he said adding that federal and provincial governments are being blackmailed at the hands of agents of foreign countries.

He said it was no longer a secret that the followers of the so-called non-violent priest Chanakya wanted to plunge South Asia into nuclear war, using the colonial powers as a mercenary to India, which dreamt of becoming a world power.
