Azadars of Imam Hussain (A.S) will follow the lines set by Agha Moosavi to adopt Hussainiyat as part of their characters - Allama Basharat Imami

ISLAMABAD, August 2: The President of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya federal Capital Islamabad Allama Bisharat Hussain Imami has vowed that Azadars of Imam Hussain (A.S) will follow the lines set by Agha Moosavi to adopt Hussainiyat as part of their characters. With respect to the country’s situation, government must facilitate and enhance convenience for holding Majalis e Aza and Jaloos during Muharram al Haram while also ensure compliance to Moosavi-Junejo agreement to resolve possible problems related to Azadari. Government must form Muharram Azadari Control Rooms on federal and provincial levels including Gilgit Baltistan and direct them to stay connected with TNFJ’s Muharram Committee. While addressing a Press Conference in National Press Club Islamabad along with the General Secretary Zulfiqar Ali Raja and Ulama e Karaam he presented the important points of the Code of Azadari issued by TNFJ. He stressed that administration at all levels must be instructed to cooperate with TNFJ’s Muharram Committee Azadari Celll. Instead of confining oneself to Hamd and Naat only, special programs must be made to highlight great sacrifices of holy Prophet’s grandson Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and his faithful companions. Musical programs and dramas must not be played on electronic media during Ashra e Muharram. Political parties must avoid political activities during Ashra e Muharram and only prefer the commemoration of martyrdom anniversary of the holy Prophet’s grandson. Women must follow the sacred characters of the honorable ladies of holy Prophet’s family while men must follow the men of Ahl ul Bait (A.S) and pious companions (R.A). All sects and schools of thought must be respected. Due to continuous increase in country’s population, Azadari programs inside new towns and settlements must be facilitated. He further demanded that foolproof preventive security measures must be taken during Majalis and mourning processions at sensitive places, provisioning of light and cleanliness must be ensured. Load shedding must be avoided. No one must be allowed to take law in own hands. Implementation of Anti-terrorism act and National Action Plan must be ensured as per their true spirits so that Pakistan army’s anti-terrorism operation could be successfully completed. Expressing serious reservations on reemergence of proscribed organizations as a result of political bargains, he demanded to clutch proscribed terrorist groups operating under new names. He condemned the practice of booking innocent citizens in Schedule-IV that is actually intended to restrict terrorists and demanded to remove innocent citizens from Schedule-IV. He said that instead of banning and gagging Waezeen and Zakireen in different districts, they must be urged to adhere to the Code of Azadari. Observance of timing must be ensured in Majalis and processions. People must not pay heed to rumors and any possible problems must be resolved in coordination with local administration and TNFJ’s Muharram Committee. Allama Bisharat Imami termed this announcement an integral part of the Code of Azadari that Azadari is our jugular vein which is dearer than life therefore, no hurdle or interference will be accepted in the way of Azadari. He said that holy Prophet’s grandson Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) memorials have started with the start of Muharram ul Haram. This sacred month is amongst the four sacred months as witnessed by the holy Quran. Almighty Allah had clarified the sanctity of this month and declared fighting wars during this month as forbidden. He said that our motherland Pakistan whose founding ideology is Islam has been under siege. Eternal enemy is threatening Pakistan, oppressing Kashmiris while to instigate Muslims, Indian government committed blasphemy against the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) which is an open challenge for entire Muslim Ummah however, so-called Islamic organizations did not take any positive step. He said that Islam has always condemned hate and terrorism. To resolve problems faced by Muslim Ummah, all conscious people, rulers and politicians must follow the path of Hussainiyat.
