ISLAMABAD, September 27: A representative delegation of Tehreek-e-Nifaz-e-Fiqah Jafariya Pakistan led by the Secretary General Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari met with the Chairman Standing Committee for Law and Justice Riaz Fatyana. Delegation also included senior legal expert Syed Asghar Hussain Sabzwari Advocate, TNFJ’s Central Secretary for Public Relations Syed Hassan Kazmi, Zulqarnain Haider Jameel and Malik Jawad Awan. The delegation informed the Chairman Standing Committee about Maktab e Tashayyo’s concerns on legislation process and highlighted Fiqah Jafariya’s point of view about the controversial amendment bill in Family Laws passed from the National Assembly. Indicating deficiencies in the amendment bill about inheritance, the delegation also presented relevant decrees from various Mujtahideen i.e. Jurisprudents of Fiqah. TNFJ’s delegation also discussed about undue restrictions on Azadari, unbalanced and partial enforcement of law and presented a dossier on state’s biased and unfair actions against the Shia community. Riaz Fatyana carefully listened to the delegation and assured to extend cooperation for the resolution of problems. |
