ISLAMABAD, May 6: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that crackdown and registration of FIRs against Azadars involved in bringing out processions on martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Ali (A.S) is tantamount to deviation from Pakistan’s founding ideology. Pakistan’s international campaign against blasphemy requires internal unity. We must not be forced to give call for a bigger protest. A joint strategy must be adopted against the resolution of European Union. NCOC must resign for banning programs of prayers and Azadri while making proscribed organizations sit alongside. Pakistan was saved from the catastrophic impact of pandemics not because of NCOC’s decisions but the blessings from Medina, Najaf and Karbala. The desire to stop Meelad ul Nabi and Azadari by using force is a useless imagination. We salute to the Matamis, and organizers of Majalis e Aza who despite facing threats and pressure, showed the world that how exactly a peaceful protest looks like. Officers in administration who adopted a wise policy about Azadari programs deserve appreciation. Some advisors are damaging the repute of the government. Government must get rid of the incompetent advisors and proscribed groups to come out of problems. All prisoners of Azadari must be immediately released. Including ATA sections in FIRs registered against peaceful Azadars is a joke, undue cases must be ended. He said this while addressing to a high-level emergency meeting of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that government must save itself from the germs of Zia’s martial law. What kind of decision is this that Majalis can be held but not processions? This is similar to allowing Adan and Iqamat but banning Namaz. Majalis are only the prefaces of processions. He said that NCOC had banned Azadari right before the martyrdom day of Hazrat Ali (A.S) during the last year also which forced us to give call for Matami protest. Earlier, wrong decisions taken to handle protests staged against Tauheen e Risalah defamed Pakistan and European Union passed a resolution against Pakistan. Government must unite the Islamic world against European Union resolution. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that it is our challenge that not even a single procession of Azadari brought out anywhere in Pakistan damaged even a single thing. Despite such peaceful programs, instructing administration to arrest peaceful protests is sheer incompetence. Rulers take wrong decisions but people and lower level administration bear its brunt while those sitting at high level don’t have to face anything. He said that our blood is mixed in the foundations of motherland. We offered sacrifices on all occasions. As long as we live, we will not let the security and unity of Pakistan harmed. However, we will also not allow any power to confiscate our faith and compromise the founding ideology of Pakistan. |
