March 23 is a day of renewal of commitment, the entire nation should defend the beloved homeland - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, March 24: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that March 23 is a day of renewal of commitment, therefore the entire nation should be made a defending wall for the security, defence and stability of the beloved homeland. The Lahore Resolution is a milestone in the establishment of Pakistan which has given new lease of life to Muslims of the subcontinent. The Two-Nation Theory is the guardian of the rights of every province, sect and nationality of Pakistan. It is necessary to overcome the deprivations, and the Islamic World should recognize the leadership of Pakistan, the collective interests of the Muslim Ummah should be given priority over the national interests. He expressed these views while addressing a special function on the Pakistan Day and on the beginning of International Day of Justice.

Agha Mousavi said that after the Madni State, Pakistan came into existence as an Islamic State in the world which was envisioned by Allama Iqbal in his Allahabad sermon. He said the Father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah interpreted this dream into a reality in the shape of Resolution adopted on March 23, 1940. He emphasized that the intellectual harmony and ideological closeness between Allama Iqbal and Quaid-i-Azam existed from the day one, which is evident from the Quaid-i-Azam's condolences on the death of Allama Iqbal. He credited Allama Iqbal for guaranteeing equal rights to all schools of thought and the provincial autonomy, he added.

The TNFJ chief said that had the Pakistan Resolution was implemented after the creation of Pakistan and the maximum autonomy was given to provinces then unjustified wars would not have been imposed on Pakistan; nor Pakistan would have divided into two; nor Modi would not have clapped his hands on his chest and say that we had a role in making Bangladesh; and nor would Indira Gandhi dared to say that they have drowned the Two-Nation Theory in the Bay of Bengal.

Agha Mousavi lamented that the Pakistan Resolution was not implemented in its true spirit due to which Muslim schools including Shia school of thought are deprived of their rights. He said that after the Quaid-i-Azam’s death, Pakistan was ruled by people who used to give bath to British animals and polish their shoes. He said a dictator wanted to make Pakistan a state of a particular group, which was the agenda of the colonial, Jewish and Hindu forces against which the Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh-e-Jafaria thwarted his designs. He said that despite being a front-line ally in the war against terror, Pakistan was harmed. He said the Pakistan's Armed Forces are fighting against terrorists, thousands of grandchildren have sacrificed their lives and the nation salutes them.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi said that 11 Sha'ban-ul-Muazzam is the birthday the Prophet’s (PBUH) same face Shahzada Ali Akbar (A.S.) whose sacrifice given Islam an immense success. He said the 15th of Sha’ba-ul-Muazaam is the Warod-e-Masood of Qaim Aal-e-Muhammad Hazrat Imam-e-Zamana (A.S.) and his Zahoor will fill this world with justice and fair-paly and will blacken the face of atheism. Therefore, there is need to fulfil the equal rights of all levels so as to make sure to end oppression and barbarism, and to successfully support the ongoing liberation movements around the world, including that of Kashmir and Palestine.
