Democracy Summit by America who backs dictators is an open act of hypocrisy - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, December 11:  The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that calling Democracy Summit by America who backs dictators is an open act of hypocrisy. The decision of Pakistan not to participate in the so-called Democracy Summit is correct and a right step. It is ridiculous to sing the tune of democracy by the sitting the murderers of humanity like India and Israel side by side. The death of Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces Bipin Rawat has made it clear, that every oppression has to end one day and every Nimrah and Pharaoh who carries out oppression on the God's creatures meets such fate. For eradication of extremism, mere statements are not enough; if the proscribed parties are continuously be showered with memberships of constitutional institutions and gifts the incidents like that of Sialkot will continue to happen. Pakistan Army and the people have given immense sacrifices against extremism and now there is need to follow the provisions of the National Action Plan in letter and spirit. The courageous role of Hazrat Zainab Binte Ali (S.A.) is the source of proud for women at large and a beacon of light for the whole humanity. These views were expressed by him while addressing the ‘Mehfil Sani-e-Zahra (S.A.)’ organized in connection with the Wiladat Ba-Sa’adat of Nawasi-e-Rasool Syeda Zainab Binte Ali (S.A.).

Agha Moosavi said that the United States has been the protector of tyrant rulers, dictators and monarchies in every era. He said the United States has strengthened the hand of every dictatorship in Pakistan. From Vietnam and Cambodia to Iraq and Afghanistan, the United States has always been stifling democracy, he added. The situation in Yemen and Bahrain unveil the American ‘love’ for democracy while downing the democracy in Iran has been the biggest American dream, he added.

The TNFJ chief said that they have repeatedly said that there is no sectarian conflict in Pakistan and the peace-loving citizens of Pakistan are living tolerantly with minorities. However owing to American patronage of terrorism during the Afghan war, some such elements are cropped up who follow the religion of Dirham, Dinar and extremism as a result of which they are becoming a source of earning a bad name not only for Pakistan but for the whole Islamic World. He said politicians and governments use these extremists for political interests and later always blackmail them. This is what is happening in our beloved homeland even today, he added.

Agha Moosavi said that while formulating the National Action Plan after the APS tragedy, all the parties had pledged to discourage promoting extremism but unfortunately in every era they tried to appease the proscribed parties by including them in the state institutions due to which the seeds of terrorism are not being eradicated despite the countless sacrifices of the Pakistan Army. He clarified that terrorism could not be rooted out completely until every clause of the National Action Plan is implemented in letter and spirit.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi said that Syeda Zainab Binte Ali (S.A) not only carried the banner of Islam after the martyrdom of Hussain (A.S.) but also perpetuated the cause of Hussainiyyat and shattered the dream of victory of Yazidiyyat. The religion of Islam will always be grateful to the Nawasi-e-Rasool (S.A.) and the Aseeran-e-Karbala who sacrificed their chadars and provided shelter for the eternal religion of Tauheed from the clutches of dictatorship.
