Youm e Ashur was commemorated throughout the world with traditional religious spirit and respect

ISLAMABAD, October 1: Youm e Ashur commemorating the beloved grandson of the holy Prophet (SAWW) and the son of Ali (A.S) and Syeda Batool (S.A), Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and his seventy-two companions was held across Pakistan including Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Batltistan besides rest of the world with traditional religious spirit and respect. The central Ashura procession of Rawalpindi brought out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain Teli Mohalla that was led by Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi that also housed the Shabeeh e Zuljanah, Alam e Abbas, Taaziya, Taboot and Gehwara Shehzada Ali Asghar (A.S). While addressing to the media and Azadars on this occasion, Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi vowed that we can accept death but will never accept any restrictions on Azadari. Every government tries to present Muharram is a threat, we never fear from death as we are the followers of Hazrat Ali (A.S). We always cooperate with administration to thwart conspiracies of the enemies and ensure peace in the country however, we will never compromise on Azadari. We accepted imprisonments and went to jails to foil dictator’s plan to restrict Azadari and our eight-months long agitation resulted in the achievement of Moosavi-Junejo agreement that ensures elimination of restrictions from Azadari. He stressed upon the government to act upon Moosavi-Junejo agreement. In response to a question about restriction on Azadari procession in occupied Kashmir, Agha Moosavi said that Azadari is being impeded in Islamic Republic of Pakistan also. Blocking and restricting traditional, new processions and even in-house Ladies Majalis is a violation of fundamental rights. He stressed that Kashmir is our jugular vein where Indian restrictions on Azadari and torturing of Azadars are severe violations of the international laws. United Nations is not stepping forward to hold plebiscite in occupied Kashmir due to her discriminatory behavior towards Muslims. International organizations must play their role to restore peace in South Asia. He said that the grandson of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) Imam Hussain ibn-e-Ali (A.S) had made it clear that someone like me can never pledge allegiance to someone like Yazeed (L.A) which is why the whole world irrespective of sect and schools of thoughts, is commemorating Imam Hussain (A.S). Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that certain powers are trying to make Pakistan a sectarian state whom we failed through our 8-months long Hussain Mahaz agitation to get restrictions lifted from the processions of Meelad ul Nabi (PBUH&HP) and Azadari while we will never ever compromise religious freedoms in future also. He said that biases and terrorism were the gifts from the dictator which is why we raised voice against the foreign funding received by religious organizations. Agha Moosavi lamented that dozens of proscribed organizations are still operating using new names which is against the spirit of National Action Plan. In response to another question he said that calling established schools of thought as Kaafir (non-believer) must be stopped as otherwise, there will be no Muslim. Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi also showed the footage of an anti-Pakistan group in which they are openly abusing Ameer ul Momineen Hazrat Ali ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S). He said that abusing the lion of God is a tradition of Bani Ummayads but our patience must not be considered as our weakness. We have adopted the policy of Imam Hassan (A.S) only for the prevention of chaos and to ensure peace in the homeland however, we also know the way to create Karbala. He said that the Tahaffuz e Bunyad e Islam Bill brought in Punjab Assembly gave rise to sectarianism and biases. Syed Hamid Moosavi stressed that commemorating Hazrat Umar’s (R.A) martyrdom anniversary in Muharram is like corrupting the history therefore; government must investigate as to who has been publishing anonymous advertisements in print media. He said that I pledge while keeping the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) as witness that we will never let Pakistan become a sectarian state. We never count on mere threats but are ready to offer any kind of sacrifice as we prefer peace on everything else. He regretted on the fact that in Quetta a volunteer who has never made any public speech was banned by putting his name in fire-brand speakers. Those who raised flag of Pakistan in certain areas of Quetta where no one can dare to carry Pakistan’s flag have been booked in schedule-IV which is condemnable. Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while answering a question about the incidents of disrespecting personalities in Pakistan, said that the grave of Ibn-e-Temiya whose decrees were used to bulldoze holy shrines of Ahl-e-Bait e Athaar (A.S), Sahaba Kibaar (R.A), and Umhatul Momineen (R.A), is present in Syria in an appropriately built condition. Colonial powers use Muslim rulers to serve their interests. He said that Hazrat Ali (A.S) was abused even today, no action was taken on the incidents of disrespecting Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A), Hazrat Abu Talib (A.S), Imam e Zamana (A.S) and Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi, while as per a well-thought conspiracy, incidents were made to happen one after the other to create chaos in the country, but we will thwart any Fasaad creating conspiracy with our actions and foreign agents will fail miserably. He said that Imam Hussain (A.S) elevated the respect and dignity of Kaaba. Imam Hussain (A.S) does not belong to any particular sect or country rather he belongs to Allah and he belongs to everyone.
