The United Nations, UNESCO and OIC should play their role for the reconstruction of Jannatul Baqi and Jannatul Moallah

ISLAMABAD, June 12: The participants of a demonstration organized by the Mukhtar Organization (MO) on the occasion of the International Ashra of Sadiq Al-Muhammad, announced by Quaid-e-Millat Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, condemned the desecration of Islamic holy places including the shrine of Hazrat Omar bin Abdul Aziz in Syria and the holy shrines in Jannatul Baqee where shrines of Imam Jafar Sadiq (A.S.) and other Imams (A.S.), Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and Ummahatul Momineen are situated. The rallies were led by clerics, central and district officials of Mukhtar Organization and other religious leaders, and were participated by mourners in a large number who also expressed complete solidarity with the Armed Forces of Pakistan.

The main rally was organized by Mukhtar Organization of Pakistan (MO) from National Press Club Islamabad. The special message of Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board was presented by Zulqarnain Jamil, Central Leader of Mukhtar Organization in which he called on the so-called human rights contractors Arab League, OIC, ICC, the United Nations, the Security Council, drawing the attention of all claimants to the trampling of the shrines in Jannatul Baqi and Jannatul Moallah.

On this occasion, a resolution was unanimously passed in which it was stated that if our Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noorul Haq Qadri had shown courage and bravery, he would have called the Saudi government like the Syrian Minister of Endowments and pressured the people to restore the mausoleum of Companions, Ahle Bait (A.S.) as under the May 21, 1985 agreement, the Government of Pakistan is obliged to make diplomatic efforts for the reconstruction of Jannatul Baqi and Jannatul Moallah, but the silence of the said minister is regrettable and a moment of reflection. This is a bitter truth.

The resolution said that if Muslim rulers had the courage to set fire to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, Jerusalem would not have been recognized by the Israeli government. The Babri Masjid would not have been replaced by the Ram Temple. In fact, the Muslim rulers are slapped by the three devils who fall on Muslims and take over from Muslim rulers. Yemen has been invaded and coercion has been imposed on Muslims everywhere. Therefore, let the Muslim rulers become slaves.

The resolution believes that the Syrian government's explanation has revealed the secret that the perpetrators of the attack on the shrine of Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz are related to those who demolished Jannatul Baqi. Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz is equally popular and respected in Shia and Sunni schools of thought.

The resolution paid tribute to all the members of the Punjab Assembly who unanimously passed the resolution, including its parliamentary leader Hassan Murtaza. The resolution called on the government to abandon the policy of walling off Shia schools under the guise of coronavirus and to protect traditional mourning processions which is a fundamental and constitutional right. They also demanded immediate dismissal of the cases registered against the mourners over the discovery of mourning processions.

Later, the protesters returned to the National Press Club lamenting and mourning and dispersed peacefully. A large contingent of police, administration officers, Mukhtar Force volunteers, Mukhtar SO and Ibrahim Scouts) were present on the occasion from beginning to end for the management and administration of the rally.

Meanwhile, mourning rallies and peaceful demonstrations were held by the Mukhtar Organization in Peshawar, Faisalabad, Larkana, Karachi, Lahore, Jhang, Khairpur, Hyderabad, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, Quetta and other places.
