A well-coordinated campaign targeting Shia Ibadaat continues; President and Prime Minister should take notice - TSAM

ISLAMABAD, June 9: An emergent meeting of Tanzeen Shia Aaima Masajid presided by Hujjat ul Islam wal Muslimeen Allama Tasawar Naqvi was held at Al-Kazim Islamabad which strongly condemned the actions against Maktab e Tashayyo and Azadars. Addressing to the meeting, Allama Tasawar Hussain Naqvi said that the Prime Minister has clearly announced that the spread of Corona has no connection with Masajid or the religious programs however, a well-coordinated campaign targeting Shia Ibadaat continues during ongoing month of Shawal also. After the processions of Shahadat e Ali (A.S), black sheep officers in administration also possessing close relations with the proscribed groups are registering FIRs against licensed and traditional processions of Shahadat e Imam Jafar e Sadiq (A.S). On last Friday, all Shia Sunni organizations of Pakistan protested against the attack on the shrine of Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz however, when Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya organized a protest procession in Chakwal to condemn desecration of holy shrines in Hijaz, Iraq and Syria, they were booked in FIRs under severe allegations. Some of the Azadars were arrested while the participants of the procession were threatened for serious consequences. Allama Tasawar Naqvi said that Maktab e Tashayyo has equal participation in Pakistan’s creation, defense, and development and therefore, the elements trying to corner Maktab e Tashayyo are trying to compromise Pakistan’s national unity and security. President, Prime Minister and Chief Justice must take notice of the situation. The meeting was also addressed by Allama Ali Zaidi, Allama Hussain Gardezi, Allama Hussain Qumi, and Allama Jafar Zaidi
