Legislation aimed at stopping terror financing is a good step but implementation of these laws is also necessary - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, July 23: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that legislation aimed at stopping terror financing is a good step but implementation of these laws is also necessary. Which NAB would investigate that how those religious leaders today became trillionaires who don’t had even a bicycle in the 1980’s? Money trail of those should be found out who spread hatred and riot in the name of religion so their terror activities could come to the fore. Those should not be extended government protocols who are not allowed to collect hide on Eidul Azha. Campaign for deshaping religious beliefs and fulfillment of foreign agenda is continuously going on at the behest of ‘Na-Maloom’ money. Those who sing the song of peace in government-sponsored conferences openly sow the seeds of riot in society. If senior journalist Mir Shakilur Rehman is not being allowed bail in a 35-year old case then why general amnesty is being given to those who have amassed multiple properties in the name of religion? Pakistan Army and people have given precious sacrifices for rooting out terrorism which should not go waste in the name of expediencies. The Qalandarana echoes raised by Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari (R.A.) against those who amass gold and silver and in favour of the rights of the poor are still rife. ‘Youm-e-Sahabiyyat’ will be observed on Zil Hajj 5 to highlight the greatness and dignity of the pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.). These views were expressed by him at a function organized in connection with the Youm-e-Tazveej of Hazrat Ali (A.S.) and Hazrat Fatima (S.A.).

            Agha Moosavi said Pakistan is a ray of hope for the Islamic World and is a shelter for the oppressed Kashmiris. He said the oppressed people of Palestine also call Pakistan when they are in trouble. He lamented that in addition to foreign attacks the internal conspiracies also did not stop to down this great citadel of Islam. These elements, he added, further strengthened owing to Afghan war in the 1980’s decade. Lavish foreign funding was extended to these elements to down the Soviet Union as well as to cause harm to the oneness of Pakistan, he added. He said crushing the democracy has also provided favourable environment for regionalism and lingualism and terror groups were fielded in elections on the basis of sects and lingualism. He said the political governments that followed martial law used the ‘Goli’ and ‘Gali’ organisations as pressure groups while the weaker governments were forced to lure those individual members who had come to assemblies on the basis of religious biases and this situation still exists.

            The TNFJ chief said that Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has been used to raise voice to ban foreign aid being received by religious parties and their participation in election on the basis of Maslak and religion since 1984. The people with insight also rejected these traders of hatred and biases supporting our call as a result of which those who tried to seek votes in the name of Maslak and community were always rejected. He said unfortunately political parties are luring those parties who have very few members in the assemblies in a bid to win the number game as a result of which the proscribed parties are taking the benefit of this black mailing.

            Agha Moosavi said that the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) carried out Tazveej of Khatoon Jannat Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.) with Hazrat Ali (A.S.) on the orders of Allah. Hazrat Anas (R.A.) states: “Rasool Allah (SAAW) was sitting in the Masjid and he told Hazrat Ali (A.S.) that this is Gabriel who is telling me that Allah Has performed the wedding of Ali (A.S.) with Fatima (S.A.). 40 thousand angels participated in this Nikah as witnesses and Shajra-e-Tooba was asked to shower pearls and rubies on them, then Hoors started filling the dishes with these pearls and rubies which the angels will continue to give to each other till the Day of Judgment.” He quoted Shah Abdul Haq Muhaddis Delhavi that he wrote in Madaraj Al-Nabuwwat that “At the time of Nikah, the Prophet (SAAW) told Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.) that Haq-e-Taala has chosen two great personalities from earth; one of them is your father Muhammad Mustafa (SAAW) and the other is your husband Ali (A.S.).

            The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the wedding and dowry of universe’s Syed and Sardar Hazrat Muhammad’s (SAAW) daughter Khatoon-e-Jannat Hazrat Fatima Zehra (S.A.) is greatest example of simplicity. He said in the present era, the face-saving efforts and lavish trend has deshaped the Islamic societies. He advised the Islamiyan-e-Alam to follow the Aswah of Sarwar-e-Alam (SAAW) if they desire to get rid of these difficulties.
