If hurdles are not removed from the Majalis and Jaloos of Azadari, then there will remain no difference between Modi and Pakistani leaders - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, September 9: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that if hurdles are not removed from the Majalis and Jaloos of Azadari, then there will remain no difference between Modi and Pakistani leaders. We will sacrifice everything for the sake of motherland but will never compromise on our faith and ideologies. Path of Hussainiyat must be adopted for the freedom of Kashmir and development and defense of Pakistan. Unlike Imran Khan’s sit-ins, our sit-in will shatter every hurdle. Tension is rising on the borders, steps that could benefit the external enemies must be avoided. Today, rulers don’t have time to listen to the problems faced by Azadars but they must remember that tomorrow, we will not be able to spare time for them. Government must learn from the mistakes of previous rulers. Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Liaqat Khan used to participate in Majalis e Hussain (A.S), what is stopping today’s President, Prime Minister and ministers from attending Majalis? Real perpetrators of the Raja Bazar incident have been exposed however; hundreds of innocent Azadars are still facing false cases lodged against them which must be closed on priority. Mere phone calls will not resolve problems; rulers must come out and summon OIC and Arab League’s meetings besides stopping activities of proscribed organizations. He was talking to media representatives and Azadars at Khyber Chowk during the 8th-Muharram mourning procession of Zuljanah brought out from Markazi Imambargah G-9/4 Islamabad. In response to the questions asked by the journalists, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Hussain ibn-e-Ali (A.S) saved the sanctity of Mecca and Medina as rather than using Harmain as his shield, he sacrificed himself for Harmain. Banu Ummayya used Islam while Banu Abbas used the name of Ahl-e-Bait (A.S) to acquire power. Similarly, Zia kept using the name of Islam for eleven years and now the present rulers must not use the name of Medina like Banu Abbas and Banu Ummaya. Was the state of Medina also infected with the similar obscenity? Not mentioning a word about the eternal sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S) in the 6-September program at GHQ is disappointing. The central program of an army whose biggest award is Nishan e Haider lacked a single sentence about Haider e Karrar (A.S) despite the fact that during every war, the slogan of the entire nation was Ali Ali. He said that Pakistan was founded on the name of La ilaha illallah while the Sultan ul Hind Khwaja Moeen ul Din Chishti had said that the foundation of La ilaaha illallah is Hussain Ibn e Ali (A.S). By refusing to pledge allegiance to Yazeed, Hussain Ibn-e-Ali (A.S) proved himself as the of leader of righteousness. Imam Hussain (A.S) did not take stand against Yazeed on the basis of letters received from Kufa as those letters were received after he had already reached Mecca while Imam Hussain had already refused to pledge allegiance for Yazeed in Medina where he said that no one like me can ever pledge allegiance to someone like Yazeed.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that when the dictator Zia ul Haq imposed sanctions against Azadari, then we reacted with the historic 8-months Hussain Mahaz agitation during which more than fourteen thousand people volunteered to be arrested which besides Shias, also included members form the Sunni and non-Muslim communities. As a result of our agitation, the Moosavi-Junejo agreement was signed which guarantees the safety of Azadari. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that we are the true and practical preachers of Shia-Sunni unity as  like Shias, Barelvis and Deobandi also visit me regularly and we will never allow any harm to be inflicted upon Shia-Sunni unity. Meanwhile, the mourning procession while reciting Nauhas and performing Matamdari passed through its designated routes and transformed into a gathering at Muhammad Chowk G-9/2 where thousands of Azadars were addressed by Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi that the grief of Imam Hussain (A.S) is a source of life. On this occasion, Azadars of Imam Hussain (A.S) vowed to offer all kinds of sacrifices for the sake of Islam, defense of motherland and Shia-Sunni unity. Solidarity and support will be expressed for Kashmir and Palestine and the code of Azadari announced by Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi will be adhered. Later the Azadars performed Zanjeer Zani to offer condolences in the court of Imam Hussain (A.S). The procession concluded after reaching Karachi Company. Dozens of Matami organizations belonging to Islamabad and its suburbs participated in Matamdari. Tabrukaat of Jaloos e Aza included effigies of Zuljanah, Alam Mubarak, Gehwara Shahzada Ali Asghar (A.S), and Menhdi e Shahzada Qasim (A.S). The administrative duties of the procession were handled by the members of Mukhtar Students Organization, M.O, Ibrahim Scouts, Mukhtar Generation and Mukhtar Force while the volunteers of UmmulBanin W.F. handled the security arrangements for women. Mukhtar Students Organization had made special arrangements for Sabeel e Hussaini. Members and office bearers of TNFJ Islamabad’s Muharram Committee Azadari Cell, high officials of civil administration and Police contingents were also present in the procession. Concluding prayers were offered by Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi. The chief administrator of Jaloos Syed Shujaat Ali Bukhari expressed gratitude tothe participants, Matami organizations and Azadars of the mourning procession.
