Pakhtoon region was presented as the hub of terrorism under the international conspiracy; restriction imposed on the ziarat of Mir Anwar Shah Mian’s shrine may be lifted  - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, July 29: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Pakhtoon region was presented as the hub of terrorism under the international conspiracy. The symbols of peace and brotherhood so far hushed up may be publicized. The restriction imposed on the ziarat of elderly spiritual personality Badshah Mir Anwar Shah Mian’s shrine may be lifted and it should be opened for all and sundry so as to break the shackle of fear created by terrorists. The government should accept the demands of Badshah Anwar Ghaz Committee. The odour of terrorism could be overcome through the teachings of Aulia Karaam. The construction stopped on the shrine of this shrine of great personality should be immediately restored who had enlightened lakhs of people from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Afghanistan with Islam. The symbol of Mughal architect damaged in terrorist attacked should be saved from complete disaster. The government should implement the decisions of the Deputy Commissioner Kohat made in 1944 and Shia-Sunni jirgas in 1999 and 2006. The work of Anwar Shah Syed Mian in devotion with Allah, Rasool (SAAW), Ahle Bait (A.S.) and pious Sahaba (R.A.) preaches the respect for independence, freedom and respect for humanity which if followed can promote peace and humanity. These views were expressed by him while addressing the representative delegation of Badshah Anwar Ghaz Committee.

Agha Moosavi said it is no more a secret that destruction of shrines of Mashaheer-e-Islam was the colonial agenda the purpose of which was to promote hatred and terrorism. He said the terrorists brought up on the desire of colonial powers targeted the shrines of religious personalities from Harmain Sharifain, Jannatul Baqeee and Jannatul Moallah to Iraq, Syria and Pakistan but despite that they failed in stopping the preaching messages of these Mashaheer-e-Islam. The shrines of Imameen Al-Askareen, Imam Abu Hanifa, Anbia Karaam, Hazrat Danial, Hazrat Shesh (A.S.), Hazrat Younis (A.S.), and renowned Sahaba like Hazrat Ammar Yasir (R.A.) and Hazrat Hijr Bin Adi (R.A.) are the source of inspiration for all even today.

The TNFJ chief lamented that in Pakistan also, the shrines of all religious personalities including Shah Abdullah Ghazi, Data Darbar, Baba Farid Ganj Shakar, Rehman Baba, Laal Shahbaz Qalander, Shah Noorani, Abdul Latif Bhitai were attacked by terrorists. He said he himself was attacked at the shrine of Sultan Al-Fuqara Hazrat Bari Imam (R.A.) through a suicide bomber but all these shrines are open even today for their devotees that indicates a clear-cut defeat of terrorists. But unfortunately, the shrine of this elderly religious personality in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa is still denied access to people despite everlasting sacrifices of the Pakistan’s Armed Forces in restoring peace in the Tribal areas. The closure of this shrine is obviously creating unrest among his devotees, he added.

Agha Moosavi said that the Fazeelat of ziarat of shrines and graves has been highlighted in uncountable Ahadees-e-Nabawai. He said it is related with Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A.) in Sahih Muslim that “You should perform ziarat of graves because this act reminds you of death”. He said Nabi Kareem (SAAW) used to continuously visit the graves of Shuhada-e-Uhad and the graves of Sahaba buried in Jannatul Baqee and Hazrat Abu Huraira (R.A.) related in Sahih Muslim that when the Nabi (SAAW) performed the ziarat of his mother’s grave, he started crying and those who were with him at that time also started crying. In other words, ziarat of graves is the symbol of devotion and love. He said there is a saying of Ahle Sunnat’s Imam Shafaee (R.A.) that whenever he had faced any difficulty he used to visit the shrine of Imam Musa Kazim (A.S.) and pray and Allah fulfilled his pray and that the shrine of Imam Musa Kazim (A.S.) has a healing factor.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that shrines of the religious personalities are actually the sources of teaching and the symbol of unity and brotherhood. We can achieve Pakistan’s stability and the supremacy of the Islamic World by adopting these teachings, he concluded.
