ISLAMABAD, July 7: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that had the evil designs of dictatorship that was imposed on Pakistan on 5^th of July, were not thwarted, the two-nation theory would have been destroyed, religious freedoms confiscated, and the Shia-Sunni solidarity had shattered. The martyrdom of Muhammad Hussain Shaad saved the prestige and dignity of sacrifices of the founders of Pakistan. Martyrdoms of Safdar Naqvi and Ashraf Rizwi resulted in the success of 8-months long Hussaini Mahaz agitation and saved the jugular vein of the nation i.e. Azadari and Meelad ul Nabi. Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya was formed as a reaction to the attack on the Ideological foundation of Pakistan. Three decades back, if the foreign funding to the religious organizations had been blocked on our demand, the streets and towns of Pakistan would not have bled. The safety of the Two-nation theory and strength of Pakistan lies in delivering equal rights to all schools of thoughts, sects, and provincial nationalities. Neither our forefathers submitted in front of dictatorships, nor would we or our next generations can be bowed down. We will keep protecting Pakistan with the spirit of Hussainiyat and will never allow anyone inflict harm to the religion. He said this while addressing to the Monitoring Council of Mukhtar Students Organization led by Syed Muhammad Abbas Kazmi.

Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah noted that Pakistan was founded on the basis of Two-Nation theory which is based upon Islam while Islam is based upon Justice and fairness. Unfortunately, after the demise of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Pakistan was clutched by the forces which shattered the entire system of justice and gave birth to sense of deprivation that was later used by our eternal enemy to disintegrate Pakistan however, the rulers did not learn a lesson. He said that during the decade of 70s, Zia ul Haq eliminated the democracy and hanged a democratic leader while deviated from the Two-Nation theory as he announced to make Pakistan a sectarian state which was rejected by us. In reaction to his move, Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya was founded which took over the secretariat to force the then government announce that any law making in Pakistan will ensure equal rights for all schools of thought. However, the dictatorship did not refrain from violating the constitution and tried to restrict Azadari e Imam Hussain (A.S) which is our jugular vein, through an amendment in the Police Act. On this, we announced that no power on earth can stop the processions of Meelad un Nabi or Azadari e Hussain (A.S). Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya ran a 8-months long peaceful agitation from October 84 to May 85 during which more than fourteen thousand members were arrested while I along with my sons also remained imprisoned. The Moosavi-Junejo agreement obtained as a result of countless sacrifices is the eternal license of processions of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) and his grandson Imam Hussain (A.S). He said that Moosavi Peace formula presented by TNFJ in the Supreme Court provides comprehensive strategy to curb terrorism and sectarianism while National Action Plan is also a replica of the Moosavi Peace Formula. Agha Moosavi stressed that National Action Plan must be implemented to curb terrorism.
