Declaration of Aza e Fatimiya Convention Islamabad

While presenting declaration of today’s Aza e Fatimiya Convention that is hosted by Makhdoom Syed Nazakat Hussain Shah at Shah Allah Ditta, and supervised by Sultan ul Zakireen Syed Maddah Hussain Shah and Agha Syed Ali Hussain Najfi, the representative organization of Zakireen and Waezeen (religious scholars, speakers and preachers) in presence of Azadars and dignitaries of Millat e Jafariya belonging to all parts of the country, state that “We the bearers of Mimber e Hussain (A.S) are the faithful receivers of the sacred mission delegated by the special blessings of Syeda Zainab (S.A) who right after the martyrdom of her brother Imam Hsussain (A.S), recited Majalis in the bazars and courts of Kufa and Syria in a way that shook the foundations of Yazidiyat.  Had the pious progeny of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A) not protected them by sacrificing everything, the Tauheed of Almighty Allah, Risalah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) and the entire constitution of Shariah would have suppressed under Malookiyat. As mentioned by Dr. Ali Shariati, had the granddaughter of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) not recited Majalis e Aza of her brother in every chowk, bazar and court, Karbala would have confined within the land of Karbala.

Even today, Azadari of Syed ul Shuhdaa Imam Hussain (A.S) is the biggest protector of Azans and the anthems of Tauheed resonating across the globe. Azadari of Syed ul Shuhda is our jugular vein which is not only the protector of Shiat but also the ideologies of all Usool e deen (i.e. the roots of religion) including Tauheed (Oneness of God), Adal (justice), Nabuwah (Prophethood), Imamat and Qayamat (the day of judgement) as well as the Furoo e deen i.e. the branches of religion, starting from Namaz all the way to Tawalla (friendship with the friends of Allah) and Tabarra (condemnation of the enemies of Allah).

اصول دیں نہ بچاتے جو کربلا والے۔۔۔۔۔ ورق ورق یہ کہانی بکھر گئی ہوتی

We the Zakireen and Azadars (mourners of Imam Hussain) are dutybound to obey the will of the holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH&HP) which declared Quran and Ahl-e-Bait (A.S) as the very source of guidance as the Holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) stated that they (i.e. Quran and Ahl-e-Bait) will never get apart till they reach the Pond of Kauthar. Wilayat of Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S) that marks the conclusion of Nemat (blessings) constitutes the roots of religion and its ideology. The hadees of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH&HP) guarantees refuge for those who enter the fort of Wilayat e Ali (A.S).

From Nawab e Arbaa (the four great scholars) to the Maraaj e Uzzam, we are grateful to all who benefitted the world of humanity through their untiring efforts of collecting the sacred Ahadees (sayings) of the rightful successors of the Holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) and also to the great scholars of Lakhnau who served the religion in such a way that they received respect and applaud even by the renowned scholars of Najaf. Those pointing fingers at Zakireen e Uzzam and Azadars must remember that the founder of this Majlis e Aza and the most prominent speaker of the subcontinent Allama Azhar Hassan Zaidi was the Muqallid (follower) of Ayatullah Brojardi, while Shaheed Mohsin Naqvi adopted his name from the name of Aqaa e Mohsin al Hakeem. The Ulama collected Ahadees of the infallible holy Imams (A.S) while Zakireen spread them even to the remotest villages and towns of the country.

We, the Zakireen (speakers), Waezeen (preachers) and Azadars are the supporters of the National Action Plan which demands from the state and the government to uproot the menace of proscribed terrorist organizations involved in targeting all parts of Pakistan for the sake of Dirhams, Dinars and Dollars. We are the messengers of unity and solidarity however; we can never compromise with the elements who are enjoying recreational visits along with the killers of the courageous soldiers of Pakistan’s armed forces right from the Lieutenant Yasir Shaheed to Captain Asfandyar Shaheed and from the young men of Shah Allah Ditta target killed in Khariyan to the young martyrs of APS Peshawar. We demand from the government and the armed forces to take concrete action against every proscribed organization in accordance with the National Action Plan and the operation Raddul fasaad. All Zakireen and Waezeen will act as the front line of every anti-terrorism effort.

We are the inheritors of the great Zakireen like Hammad e Ahl e Bait (A.S) Mohsin Naqvi Shaheed, Riaz Shah Moch Shaheed, Zakire Fazil Alwi Shaheed, Zakire Alamdar Shah of Shorkot, Allama Nasir Abbas Shaheed, Allama Kazim Hussain Aseer Jaarvi, Allama Zaid ul Hassan Shaheed who worked and laid their lives for the sake of peace and the ideology of Wila o Aza. The famous Ismail was also a Zakir of Imam Hussain (A.S) who proved the unbelief of Qadiyanis inside the National Assembly of Pakistan and glorified the pride of Islam and the Shiat. We the Zakireen are the followers of the Sun of Punjab Hafiz Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Raees ul Huffaz Hafiz Kifayat Ali Shah, Molana Muhammad Qasim Sultan ul Madaris, Fateh e Taxila Bashir Ansari, Allama Badshah Hussain Parachanar, Allama Najam ul Hassan Kararwi, Allama Rasheed Turabi, Musawir e Gham Agha Hussain, Allama Abdul Hakeem Buturabi, Naseer ul Millat Allama Naseer Hussain, Allama Ejaz Hussain Kazmi, Qari e Pakistan Molana Muhammad Abbas, Allama Irfan Haider Abidi, Zakir Syed Ali Shah Cheena, Hassan Ali Shah Bohriyanwala, Zakir Ashiq Ali Lotiyanwala, Nabi Baksh Shauq, Sardar Ali Fauq, Ahmad Bakhsh Bhatti, Ameer Hussain Shah Behal, Hafiz Ashiq Hussain, Qazi Safdar, Ghulam Abbas Notak, Zakir Fazal Hussain Behal, and Nabi Bakhsh Joiya who were the upholders of esteemed traditions. We want to make it clear that we chose the pious leadership of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi in the All Pakistan Shia Convention held at Dina on 10^th  of February 1984 and attended by hundreds and thousands of people forming a Ghadeeri gathering that was led by the uncle of Agha Naseem Abbas Rizwi, Ayatullah Zameer ul Hassan Najafi, Allama Azhar Hassan Zaidi, Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain Lakhnawi, Allama Taj ud Din Haidery, besides the entire group of Molana Muhammad Ismail, the group of Zakir Ghulam Qamber including Zakir Ashiq Hussain B.A and the groups of Zakireen of the Katchi area including Molana Ghulam Haider Kalloo, and Sultan ul Zakireen Khadim Hussain Shah Chak 38. We have neither forgotten Ghadeer e Khum nor will we ever forget the Ghadeer e Dina while under the leadership of Agha Moosavi, we are ready to offer all kinds of sacrifices for the sake of Wila e Ali (A.S), Aza e Hussain (A.S), Hurmat e Sadaat, stability of Pakistan and the Shia-Sunni unity.

Everyone must remember that the respect of Sadaat (i.e. the descendants of the holy Prophet PBUH&HP) is the inseparable part of our faith. The way there was no match for the Lady of heavens Syeda Fatima Zahra (S.A) except Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S) similarly, no one can be a match for the progeny of Fatima (S.A) except those belonging to her own offspring. We express outright rejection for any code which does not provide guarantee for protecting Wilayat e Ali, Sha’air e Hussainya and Hurmat e Sadaat. We neither impose our beliefs on anyone nor will we allow any other beliefs to be imposed upon us. We have offered sacrifices right from the creation to the defense of our beloved motherland Pakistan and we will spend lives in accordance with our own ideologies as guaranteed by the Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his cofounders for every citizen of Pakistan.  

We the protectors of the ideology of Tauheed i.e. Oneness of God, will never allow anyone to conspire against the uninterrupted caliphate of Ali Ibn-e-Abi Talib (A.S), the noble rituals of Azadari including Matam, Majlis, Nauha, Zanjeer o Qama Zani and the respect and dignity of Sadaat. 

We demand from the government that the rights of the Maktab e Tashayyo i.e. the Shia school of thought must be fulfilled in accordance with the 21^st May 1985 agreement. In accordance with the Moosavi-Junejo agreement, the government of Pakistan is also responsible to use all her diplomatic influence on the government of Saudi Arabia for the restoration of Jannat ul Baqi and Jannat ul Mualla therefore, upon arrival of the Saudi rulers, the government of Pakistan must raise the case of reconstruction of holy Shrines so that the nation could realize that the change has really come.

Last but not the least, we want to make it clear from the platform of Tehreek e Tahaffuz e Wila o Aza o Hurmat e Sadaat that for us, the eternal source of success in this world as well as the world hereafter are the tears shed in the mourning of Imam Hussain (A.S) and the Matam performed to express grief for the tragedies faced by the sacred family of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) as this mourning is the source of satisfaction for Hazrat Batool (S.A) whose martyrdom anniversary is being commemorated today. Our sect is not Shaikhiya, Khalisiya or Ghaliya but we are the followers of Asna Ashariya school of thought and our next generations will also stick to the same faith because adopting and following Maktab e Jafar ibn-e-Muhammad (PBUH&HP) is the only source of eternal success. We do not need any certificate of being Muslim or Shia from anyone. Making the much-revered Shah Abdullah Ghazi, Hazrat Baba Shah Zain, Hazrat Laal Shahbaz Qalandar, Hazrat Jalaluddin Surkh posh to Hazrat Sakhi Shah Chan Charagh, Sakhi Shah Piyara, Hazrat Shah Allah Ditta Bhakri, Hazrat Sakhi Shah Muzammil o Sultan ul Fuqara Hazrat Barim Imam who lightened up the candles of Zikr e Hussain (A.S) in jungles, mountains, deserts and oceans and spread the messages of peace, love and tolerance, as witnesses to our deeds, we declare that those trying to threaten us are living in a fool’s paradise. Under the unwavering leadership of Agha Moosavi, we had filled the jails of the country for the sake of our ideology during the worst oppression of Zia ul Haq’s regime. We did not compromise on Wila o Aza even during the worst suicide blasts and spraying bullets and we will never submit against any threat, conspiracy or an evil collusion. From the Meesam and Mukhtar to Shaheed Nasir Abbas, fearlessness is the ultimate attribute of the followers of Ali Ibn e Abi Talib (A.S) and that we will always retain.
