Publicizing against donations to the proscribed organizations are insufficient and will not achieve the objective - Hamid Moosavi ISLAMABAD, January 8: The Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that publicizing against donations to the proscribed organizations are insufficient and will not achieve the objective unless those providing umbrellas of political alliances to the banned outfits also get punished. Proscribed organizations must be forbidden from getting appointed in the Ideology Council, peace committees, and their participation in electoral politics must also be blocked. Some of the countries are still abetting and supporting their agents, the habit of submitting to the foreign pressure must be abandoned. National politics is lacking true leadership, had the politics focussed upon preferring national interests rather than personal gains, Trump and alike would not have dared to threaten Pakistan. Fundamental reason behind the spread and promotion of terrorism is also because of the personal interests of politicians. The nation stands firm for the national sovereignty and is ready to sacrifice anything in this course however, politicians and rulers must also reconsider their policies. Each and every point of the National Action Plan will have to be acted upon for the restoration of peace and stability. He said this while addressing to the members of the supervisory council of Mukhtar Force. Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that terrorist organizations have been openly participating in elections for the last two decades, their members have been appointed in Ideology Council, political parties invite the banned outfits in their meetings and make them sit with their leadership which proves that there is a big difference between what rulers say and what they actually do. He said that it is because of the duality and hypocrisy occupying the political horizon that even the countless sacrifices of Pakistan's armed forces are still unable to eliminate terrorism. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the incident of 9/11 was a drama staged by the US and under whose garb, Pakistan was forced to become an ally and paid a huge price for this association. Terrorists fostered by the US dollars transformed the towns and cities of Pakistan into battlefields, suicide attacks started, more than seventy five thousand innocent Pakistanis lost their lives denting Pakistan with irreparable damage. He said that even the democratic era after Musharraf was not good for Pakistan when the sovereignty of the state was consistently compromised through the drone attacks, CIA was given free hand to operate in Pakistan and besides the deteriorated situation of law and order, corruption, extortion and target killing became a kind of full-fledged business. Some of the criminal groups enjoyed complete government support, and more than three hundred thousand licenses of arms and weapons were issued in a single province which is a national tragedy. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi stressed that the peace and harmony can only be achieved by ensuring action on all points of the National Action Plan formulated after the tragic incident of the APS Peshawar. |
