The government should ensure rights of all schools of thought to make Pakistan Madni State model - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, August 14: The two-day Supreme Council meeting of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya presided over by the Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi concluded after making decisions on important national and organizational matters including the oncoming month of Muharramul Haram and matters of national and international importance. Agha Moosavi will announce a policy for Ayyam-e-Aza in the shape of Code of Azadari before Muharramul Haram. It was decided to observe Youm-e-Azadi as Youm-e-Nemat and will not allow turning Pakistan into a state of any particular group.

In a resolution adopted on the occasion it was demanded from the government to ensure rights of all schools of thought to make Madni State model. Maktab-e-Tashih may be given ideological representation on the basis of equality in all Islamic State institutions including the Islamic Council of Ideology. Implementation on National Action Plan may be ensured to root out terrorism. Incidents of terrorism on the east-west route of the CPEC provide food for thought. The noose against the culprits of Dera Ismail Khan target killings and those who attacked and put schools on fire in Gilgit-Baltistan may be tightened. The foreign aid to religious and lingual parties is more fatal than AIDS for national peace and oneness. The religious leaders should undergo accountability for their assets, income and expenditure and Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya offers itself ahead of them for this purpose. Stopping the banned parties from collecting hides is not enough they should also be stopped from working as the banned parties are continuing their activities by changing their names and are also taking part in elections and joining political alliances which is a matter of concern. Ulema and Zakireen who are involved in Ashra-e-Muharram should not be banned on petty accusations.

The TNFJ Supreme Council in another resolution strongly condemned American sanctions against Pakistan, Turkey and Iran and called upon the Muslim States to get their economies freed of American influence. Instead of trying to overcome each other they may adopt the joint stand for the independence of Kashmir and Palestine by becoming a one Millat. They should resolve their mutual conflicts at the forum of OIC. The incident of attack on children’s bus in Yemen is tragic, therefore the attacks of allied forces at Yemen should be stopped and protection of historic and Islamic places should be ensured. Provision of human rights in Bahrain, Qateef, and Nigeria should be ensured. It is lamented that anti-Islam forces are benefiting themselves from the mutual entangling of Muslims.

Another resolution termed the fixing of partitions around Jannatul Baqee as a step to deprive the people of Ziarat of graves of Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.), pious Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and Ummahtaul Momineen and termed such steps a violation of the Islamic teachings because the Fazeelat of graves’ ziarat has been clearly stated in all books of Ahadees.

Another resolution demanded to lay down an emergency plan for construction of dams and called to present the case of Indian water aggression at the international fora in an effective manner. The meeting strongly condemned Modi government’s bid to remove article 370 and its sub-article 35A aimed at changing the demography of Kashmir and called upon the government to unveil the Indian conspiracy aimed at converting Muslim majority into minority by changing the demography of Kashmir on international fora. Kashmir Committee may be activated and Tehreek Hurriyat Kashmir may be supported in the true sense.

The resolution demanded from the new government to refurbish the foreign policy as the increased close relations of Pakistan’s long-standing friends with India provides food for thought. Priority should be given to relations with Islamic States and Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project should be completed ignoring American concerns. Steps should be taken to root out unemployment and price hike from the country and to confront the cultural invasion of the west and Pakistan’s perpetual enemy India. It is lamented that politicians are only after grabbing power while un-Islamic cultural invasion was turning the Pakistan’s Islamic cultural values hollow creating need to stop it through coherent and organized strategy.

On this occasion it was announced that: ‘Youm-e-Sahabiyyat’ will be observed on 5 Zilhijj in connection with the Wafat of Sahabi-e-Rasool Hazrat Abuzar Ghaffari; ‘Youm Baqar-ul-Uloom’ will be observed on 7 Zilhijj to mark the Shahadat of Hazrat Imam Muhammad Baqar (A.S.); ‘Youm Safeer-e-Hussainiyyat’ will be observed on 9 Zilhijj to mark the Shahadat of Hazrat Muslim Bin Aqeel (A.S.) and his sons; ‘Youm Sharikat-ul-Hussain’ will be observed on 16 Zilhijj to mark the Shahadat of Hazrat Zainab Binte Ali (S.A.); ‘Hafta-e-Wilayat’ will be observed from 17-24 Zilhijj, while ‘Ayyam Istaqbal-e-Muharram’ will be observed from 27 Zilhijj onwards.

The members of the Supreme Council of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya expressed unwavering confidence in the leadership of Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi and reiterated their resolved to follow every order given by him. Those who addressed the concluding session of the meeting among others included: Secretary General Syed Shujaat Ali Bokhari, Provincial Presidents and representatives Allama Hussain Muqaddasi, Allama Mohsin Hamdani, Makhdoom Zafar Abbas Naqvi, Chaudhry La’al Khan, Zulfiqar Jameel, Maulana Ijlal Haider Haideri, Mukhtar Bangash, Javed Ali Mithani, Allama Waqar Taqvi, Ammar Yasir, Sardar Tariq Jafri, Mustafa Kamal Changezi, Mardan Ali, Hussain Sabzwari, Yasoob-ud-Din Moosavi, Allama Azhar Abbas Haideri, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Haji Mukhtar Shah, M.H.
