Ashura was commemorated on Sunday across the world including Pakistan in the memory of the grandson of the holy Prophet Imam Hussain (A.S)

RAWALPINDI Oct 3:    Youm e Ashur was commemorated on Sunday across the world including all parts of Pakistan along with Azad Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan in the memory of the grandson of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and his 72 faithful companions with full religious respect and dignity. Central Ashura procession of Rawalpindi led by Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi was brought out from Imambargah Ashiq Hussain Teli Mohalla which included Shabeeh e Zuljanah, Aalam e Abbas, Taaziya, Taboot and Gehwara of Shehzada Ali Asghar. On this occasion, addressing to the media and Azadars, Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Yazeed wanted to alter the teachings of Islam and Shariah, he used to make fun of elhaam and Wahi (revelations), drunk openly, and was a fraud and corrupt man. After coming into power, he tried to force Imam Hussain (A.S) for pledging allegiance for himself however, Imam Hussain (A.S) refused and stated that We are the members of the holy Prophet’s family, angels descend in our home, Islam started and concluded in our family therefore, Hussain (A.S) brought up by the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) himself will never submit in front of an evil doer like Yazeed. Agha Moosavi said that the grandson of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) Imam Hussain ibn-e-Ali (A.S) changed his plan of Hajj into Umrah to protect the sanctity and respect of Kaaba and thwarted Yazeedi plan of distorting it. He said that through his great sacrifice, Imam Hussain (A.S) not only saved but also revived the sacredness of Kaaba, greatness of the humanity and truthfulness and righteousness of Deen and Shariah for which every conscious person and follower of the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) is thankful to Imam Hussain (A.S) and therefore, Imam Hussain (A.S) is being remembered all across the world without any discrimination of race, sect or religion. Responding to a question, Agha Moosavi declared that there is no Sunni-Shia conflict in Pakistan and sectarianism is only a name of enemy’s desire which will never be allowed to realize. He said that the security arrangements made for the Muharram ul Haram are worth appreciating however, representatives of banned groups must be expelled from the peace committees and Ulama boards. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that issues related to the commutation of Zaireen across Quetta-Taftan border must be resolved on priority. He mentioned that standing against Zulm is the essence of Hussainiyat while issues faced by the all the oppressed people of the world and the Muslim Ummah can only be resolved by adopting the path of Hussainiyat.  He said that more than ten million Azadars are offering condolences and paying tributes at the shrines of Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S) and Hazrat Abbas e Alamdar at Ben ul Harmain in Karbala which proves that everyone is grieved on the tragic incident of Karbala without geographical or any other discrimination while the entire world of humanity is offering tributes to Maula Hussain (A.S) in several ways. Azadari processions of Zuljanah, Alam, and Taaziya were also brought out from Imambargah Col. Maqbool Hussain (A.S), and Imambargah Hifazat Ali Shah. At Fawara Chowk, the Central procession of Ashura transformed into Majlis e Aza that was addressed by Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi who highlighted the philosophy of martyrdom and mentioned about the tragic incidents of Karbala. On this occasion, the spokesman district Muharram Committee of TNFJ Syed Abul Hasan Bukhari presented resolution which appreciated the formation of Muharram Control Rooms in the federal interior ministry while demanded to connect Muharram rooms at provincial levels with TNFJ’s Azadari Cells as Ayyam e Aza will continue till 8th of Rabi ul Awal. The resolution expressed solidarity with the oppressed people of the occupied Kashmir and condemned blocking of Azadari processions by the Indian forces. The resolution also appreciated the achievements of operation Raddul fasaad while the resolution also demanded to restore the slogan of “Nara e Haidery” in the armed forces. Resolution strongly condemned the PCB’s schedule of Cricket matches during Ayyam e Aza and on the day of Ashura and demanded the authorities to take action against those responsible. Thousands of participants of the Ashura procession expressed complete support and approval for the resolution and expressed unwavering confidence in the leadership of Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi while vowed to sacrifice anything for the sacred mission of Wila o Aza. On this occasion, Chaudhary Mushtaq Hussain and Wajih Kazmi also addressed the gathering. On route of the Ashura procession the volunteers of Mukhtar Students Organization ran an Azadari camp at Fawara Chowk while another Azadari camp was run by Mukhtar Organization outside Imambargah Qadeemi Hussaini Mahaz. During the procession, Ibrahim Scouts provided free medical assistance to the Matamis and Azadars. Members of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya’s regional and district Muharram committees, volunteers of Mukhtar Force were also present along with the contingents of police in the procession.
