ISLAMABAD, November 10:  A central delegation of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Pakistan led by Syed Hassan Kazmi Central Additional Secretary Muharram Committee Azadari Cell met with the Federal Interior Secretary Mirza Arshad in the Federal Interior Ministry and brought his attention towards the required arrangements for the Chehlum of the martyrs of Karbala, issues faced by the pilgrims (Zaireen) in Quettan and Taftan, besides discussion on other matters of national significance while also proposed solid suggestions for the resolutions of the issues. Federal Secretary for Interior carefully listened to the suggestions and proposals of the delegation and assured immediate actions to address the matters. Other members of the TNFJ delegation included Syed Bu Ali Mehdi, Allama Syed Mohsin Ali al-Hussaini and Allama Syed Zahid Abbas Kazmi. According to the TNFJ’s handout, the delegation reminded to the Secretary Interior that the days of Hussaini mourning continue till 8th Rabi ul Awal therefore, due security arrangements must be made for the traditional and licensed Matami processions in accordance with the Moosavi-Junejo agreement of 21st May 1985. Foreign aid to religious and political parties must be banned in accordance with the Moosavi peace formula. The delegation expressed concerns on the fact that Zaireen (pilgrims) of the holy shrines of Ahl-e-Bait (A.S) and Sahaba e Kibaar (R.A) using land routes have to face serious problems in Quetta and Taftan which demand special and urgent arrangements by the government as to protect the pilgrims from the blackmailing wings of banned organizations and the government must take action on TNFJ’s suggestions in this regard. The TNFJ delegation stressed upon the need to act on all points of National Action Plan and demanded to clutch proscribed organizations operating using old and new names while the elements of banned outfits must also be expelled from the Islamic Ideology Council, Peace Committees and Ulama Boards. Leaders of TNFJ stressed upon the need to exclude names of innocent and patriotic citizens from the lists of Schedule-IV to address rising concerns in the people across Pakistan. High level delegation of TNFJ also demanded to resume the Urs and Hussaini mourning at the shrine of Hazrat Bari Imam in the federal capital Islamabad, to practically thwart designs of terrorists.
