TNFJ rejected new appointments in Islamic Ideology Council and termed the appointments of members belonging to banned organizations as making fun of the NAP

ISLAMABAD, Nov 5:   The spokesman of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya has rejected the new appointments in Islamic Ideology Council and termed the appointments of members belonging to banned organizations as making fun of the National Action Plan. By allocating one-third of the total seats of the Islamic Ideology Council to the representatives of proscribed organizations, the ministry of Law has stabbed in the back of operation Raddul Fasaad and sprinkled salt on wounds of the victims of terrorism. Assigning the role of guiding parliament and the state on Islamization to those responsible of inciting violence, bloodshed, and hatred is extraordinarily cruel.

In the statement issued from the Head Quarter Maktab e Tasheyyo, the spokesman of TNFJ said that the Shia members included in the Islamic Ideology can be the representatives of the government however, they do not represent Fiqah Jafariya. Rulers and politicians have been preferring their personal interests over Islam. The spokesman of TNFJ said that Pakistan has been a victim of terrorism since long and therefore, government proscribed more than sixty two organization to mitigate this menace, National Action Plan was also formulated however, proscribed outfits have been freely operating using old and new names. Ulama, Zakireen and scholars who organize the programs of Meelaad e Mustafa (PBUH&HP) and Majalis e Hussain (A.S) are facing proscriptions while those following and executing foreign agendas and spreading hate and terror are being appointed on the most important designations.

Innocent people who had absolutely no connection or linkage with any of the banned organizations are booked in Schedule-IV as fill in the blanks and such practices are wasting the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces offered in the fight against terrorism.

The TNFJ’s spokesman regretted on the fact that not only the Ideology Council but all other institutions including Royat e Hilal Committee, Ulama Boards etc are being used for political bargains. He appealed to the authorities to have mercy on the country, nation and religion.  He demanded the government to contact only the true representative organizations of different schools of thoughts while making appointments in the institutions made for Islamization.
