Ramazan Karim teaches selflessness and sacrifice; the rulers are continuously sacrificing people - Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, May 28: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of the Tehreek Nifaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that Ramazan Karim teaches selflessness and sacrifice. The rulers are continuously sacrificing people. Ramazan is not the name of hunger and thirst rather feeling the hungry and thirsty and the superior class is not aware of such norms. The poor demand basic right of employment, health and education from the State, people need rights and not alms. Carrying out baton-charge on farmers in the city of power instead of taking care of their demands is tragic. The budget is not more than the jugglery of words for the poor. Fixing the minimum salary of the poor at Rs. 15,000 and allocating Rs. one billion each to be spent by the President and the Prime Minister is a tragedy that unveils the imbalance in the budget. These views were expressed by him while addressing the workers and office-bearers of TNFJ Taxila and Panj Kath, Haripur who called on him at the head of Syed Abid Hussain Shah.

Agha Moosavi said the blood of the innocent Shuhada-e-Azadari who lost their lives in the suicide blasts at the holy shrine of Sultan Al-Fuqara Hazrat Bari Imam demands implementation of the National Action Plan and to put a hand on the patrons of banned parties. He said the month of Allah i.e. Ramazan demands that Muslim rulers should also listen to the woes of the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine. The one who cannot win the wealth of hearts he is considered to be a deprived person in Ramazan, he said adding that Ramazan Karim is the month of forgiveness, pardon and blessings and one who remains deprived in this month is hard-hearted and unfortunate in line with the sayings of the Holy Prophet (SAAW).

The TNFJ chief said today Ramazan has come at a time when Muslims are divided and the Zionist and colonial powers were strengthening their grip on the world by dividing them. He said it is the result of the Muslim differences that the champions of peace could not see the Kashmir and Palestine bleeding for achievement of independence and Kashmiris and Palestinians are being punished only for being Muslims. He said the India atrocities in Kashmir have increased to the extent that they did not even spare the United Nations Observer from hitting and now the Indian intelligentsia have also started saying that the spirit of independence cannot die down whether India deputes 70 lakh strong troops instead of present seven lakh.

Agha Moosavi said that war clouds are hovering over the South Asia owing to India provocations and God forbid if war breaks out between the two atomic powers then there is a possibility of 20 per cent world population to be affected with that destruction. Therefore, he added, the United Nations should understand the severe current situation and exercise the right of self-determination for Kashmiris so that the two atomic powers and more than 1.4 billion human beings living there could lead a peaceful life.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Ahl-e-Islam should grab the maximum blessings of this holy month as the Ramazan Karim is the month of self-accountability, the month of character building, the month of reformation, the month of coming near to Allah and Rasool (SAAW), the month of touching the heights by coming out from the lowness, and the month of unity and brotherhood. He said no human being is able to cover the blessings and supremacies of this month of Allah. He said the Ramazan Karim is a complete lesson of guidance and every Kalma-reciting person in this month that showers blessings should raise his hands for praying for Muslim unity and brotherhood. He said if the Muslims the world over should transform their hearts, sights, tongue, thinking, doings and character in the light of guidance provided by Allah and Rasool (SAAW), then success would kiss their feet here and the Hereafter.
