Military courts may be extended till evil forces and terrorists are wiped out from the country - Hamid Moosavi ISLAMABAD, March 6: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that military courts may be extended till evil forces and terrorists are wiped out from the country and till the inability and the helplessness of the judicial system exists. The judicial system should be made so much effective and strong that it could be able to tackle the strong criminals and terrorists amicably and cheap justice is extended to people. Terrorism should not be linked with Maslak, religion, provinces and ethnicity because doing this would be tantamount to providing justification for sympathies to enemies of humanity. Announcement of the Prime Minister not to distinguish terrorists on the basis of area, colour and sect is good and should be seen implemented, accordingly. We have been saying for the last three decades that a terrorist keeps no Maslak or religion, he is only a terrorist and should be tackled in the same perspective. This was stated by him while talking to a delegation of Zakireen and Azadaran that called on him at the head of central leader of Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Wila and Aza, Zakir Ali Raza Khokhar. Agha Moosavi said that the money coming from foreign countries is the basic source of creating hatred and terrorism. From EBDO (Elected Bodies Disqualification Order) to NAB only politicians are undergoing accountability. Religion is not a shop rather the mine of guidance, therefore, it is necessary that religious parties and leaders should also be brought into accountability that how they made billions and trillions? First of all, Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya presents itself for accountability, he added. He said calling any recognized school of thought as non-Muslim may be declared a cognizable offence while the whole nation pays tributes to the Shuhada of Operation Raddul Fasaad. He said difference of opinion and constructive comments should not be retaliated, we are Karbala Walas and know to defeat coercion with patience. The TNFJ chief said decision to set up military courts was taken to tackle terrorists in the provision 2 of the National Action Plan laid down with national consensus after the Army Public School incident the basic reason of which was the country’s judicial system in which those who confessed killing more than hundred persons and committing many incidents of terrorism were used to set free owing to default judicial system. The government should have made the legislation to extend these courts before expiry of the two-year period but the government kept on adopting a confused policy and also kept the nation in confusion over this matter. The situation under which the military courts were set up still exists, he added. Agha Moosavi said that owing to non-implementation of the National Action Plan, innocent children and their parents were given a bloodbath in Gulshan Park incident in Lahore last March. Later incidents of terrorism till the blast at the shrine of Laal Shabaz Qalandar in Sehwan Sharif on February 16, that preaches peace and love, proved that terrorists have such sleeping cells in every city and town where they can shed blood of innocent people whenever they so like and can target every citizen, torch-bearers of law and justice, lawyers, teachers, engineers, doctors and even the personnel of the law enforcing agencies. The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya has the honour that many points from the Moosavi Peace Formula presented in the Supreme Court on 20 August 1998 were included in the National Action Plan. He said every Maslak and Maktab is given complete freedom to live their life according to their own beliefs and no one should be allowed to impose his beliefs on others. He said the demand of enforcement of Fiqh-e-Jafariya as evident in the name TNFJ (Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya) is meant only for Fiqh-e-Jafariya because we are deprived of our constitutional rights even today. The Federation can be made invincible only by giving legal rights to all Masalak, Makatab, provinces and nationalities. He made it clear that we are not afraid of death that is why we don’t ever bow down before terrorists. Being the follower of Hussain Ibne Ali (A.S.) we would never hesitate in saying Kalma-e-Haq even on the point of the spear, he added. |
