In order to achieve dignity and respect, women will have to follow the pious characters of the respected ladies of the holy Prophet’s family - Hamid Moosavi ISLAMABAD, July 26: Patron in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nifaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that that the in order to achieve their dignity and respect and their rightful status in the world, women will have to follow the pious characters of the respected ladies of the holy Prophet’s family. Colonial world wants women to act like an advertisement board therefore, following the guidance from the holy Quran is mandatory to stay safe from colonial agenda. He said this while addressing to a program of “Youm e Kareema e Ahl-e-Bait (A.S)” organized to celebrate the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatima bint-e-Imam Musa Kazim Masooma e Qum Salamullah Alaiha. Agha Moosavi said that the Almighty Allah has blessed human beings that includes both men and women, with dignity and honor while declared Zohd o Taqwa as the distinguishing factor among them. He said that respectable personalities filled with Zohd o Taqwa existed in every era similarly, several respectable ladies in their respective eras were the role model for the womenfolk. Amongst those respectable ladies one is Hazrat Fatima Masooma (S.A). Agha Moosavi stressed that the city of Qum enjoys an esteemed status and value only because of the respectable and revered personality of Hazrat Fatima Masooma (S.A) who possessed a very high status in Zohd o Taqwa. Therefore, it becomes clear that if Muslim states and Islamic sites are the target of international evil powers, its sole reason is that these states are ruled by the rulers who are neither Truthful nor they are honest. That is why the sacred sites and Islamic signs were demolished in Mecca and Medina after defeating the Ottoman Caliphate was defeated which is one of the darkest chapter of Islamic history. Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that before Islam, women were considered as shameful and disgraceful and was commonly buried alive, it was an era when a camel was precious than a woman, birth of a baby girl was considered as humiliation for her father. He said that the holy Prophet (PBUH&HP) was appointed in such a dark period who dignified and exalted the status of the women and her account mentioned in the holy Quran as respectable and honorable and the sacrifice of a camel was ordered under her feet. He said that all the honor and dignity of the women is because of the respectable personality of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (S.A), and women were bound to seek knowledge the same way as the men are ordered. He said that the holy Shrine of Hazrat Fatima bint-e-Imam Musa Kazim (A.S) is a symbol of dignity and pride for the women and is a place of reverence for the people. He said that the government of Pakistan that was founded on the name of Islam are duty bound to take practical steps to ensure respectful and honorable status and protection of rights of the women. He expressed concerns on the fact that Pakistan has been under siege and fighting against terrorism since long and lost thousands of lives, billion and trillions of dollars in the course. The courageous citizens of Pakistan stand united with our armed forces in their fight against the terrorists while operation Zarb e Azab, Raddul Fasaad and now Operation Khyber-4 are breaking the network of the terrorists. However, the terrorists hit back whenever the find any opportunity and yesterday’s tragic incident in Lahore was also a part of the same situation. He said that if rulers and politicians really want to ensure the respect and dignity of the country they must ensure acting in accordance with the principles of Islam and take comprehensive action on all points of the National Action Plan and clutch the leaders of the banned outfits to make Pakistan a hub of peace. |
