Bureaucracy is helpless before the political pressure; an institution comprising army officers may be set up to monitor the implementation of the NAP

ISLAMABAD, February 29: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the bureaucracy is helpless before the political pressure and the judicial system is losing its benefits being costly and slow, therefore an institution comprising army officers may be set up to monitor the implementation of National Action Plan. The nation pays salute to the personnel of the armed forces who kissed Shahadat while confronting terrorists in Shawal. The sacrifices of the Pakistan’s Armed Forces would go waste if National Action Plan failed. Activity is still going on to thwart the National Action Plan to befool the Army and the government. Peace-loving people are being put in Schedule-4 while leaders of banned parties are being garlanded by the government and the opposition. There is need to coordinate with the Army along with deeds instead of mere thinking to root out terrorism by the politicians. If the politicians did not fulfill their responsibilities and innocent people continued to be murdered then everyone desirous of peace would start calling the Army. This was stated by him while addressing the members of the TNFJ Core Committee.

Agha Moosavi said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb is reaping the harvest of terrorism and there is need to make the National Action Plan a success come what may to destroy the plants of extremism on which the whole nation enjoys a consensus. He said America gathers fighters from all around the world in Afghanistan to take the revenge of defeat in Vietnam. Russia made exit from Afghanistan but the Islamic World is still entangled in it. In the name of stopping Russia from her access to hot waters, the poison of terrorism was included in Pakistani waters that have devoured one lakh innocent lives and caused losses in trillions.

The TNFJ chief said the nation is suffering the loss caused by the ‘gifts’ achieved as a result of Afghan war. The back of Pakistan’s economy has been drifted down with heavy load of refugees and national generation has become useless with the opening of paths to heroin and drugs while the Kalashnikov culture has given birth to suicide blasts as a result of which the whole country is bleeding. He said the world is surprised the way Gen. Raheel Sharif rooted out the abodes of terrorists. He said the Pakistan’s Armed Forces have destroyed the citadels of terrorists but there is need for the government, politicians and people to play their role in rooting the fleeing terrorists and their facilitators who are hiding in every nook and corner of the country.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi besides meeting the internal challenges, unveiling the external hands patronizing terrorists is also a biggest challenge. The objective of putting the blame of incidents like Pathankot is actually to cover up the Indian involvement in terrorist activities against Pakistan, therefore, the government should not lag behind in taking up the Indian links with terrorists at international fora. The steps being taken to root out terrorism were reviewed in the Core Committee meeting and the success of National Action Plan was considered as the guarantee to the prosperity, development and stability of the nation and the country.
