The impression of Pakistan’s foreign policy revolving around personal interests of a few must be ended – Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, April 4: The Chief Patron of Supreme Shia Ulama Board and Head of Tehreek e Nafaz e Fiqah Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that the impression of Pakistan’s foreign policy revolving around personal interests of a few must be ended. Absence of mentioning about India during the Prime Minister’s Address is giving birth to rumors and suspicions. The realities of Shareef family’s business ties with India must be revealed to the nation. Personal relations already pushed Pakistan into 34-States alliance which ended Pakistan’s diplomatic impartiality. Slowness in the implementation of National Action Plan is adversely impacting the operation against terrorism. Government must support General Raheel Shareef’s resolve to eradicate terrorism within 2016. The provincial minister appointed as a captain to implement National Action Plan in Punjab is already defamed due to his friendship with proscribed organizations, expecting justice from criminals must be stopped. Organizations banned even thrice are being presented with respectful awards by the government’s ministers which is hurting the victims of terrorism. Iran’s spokesman has rightly mentioned that some forces are disturbed due to the healthy relations between Pakistan and Iran and trying to fade the outcome of the successful visit of Iranian President. Both states must realize that the biggest force trying to unfriend Iran and Pakistan is India. He said this while talking to a delegation of TNFJ Kurram Agency led by Dr. Laiq Hussain Fakhari. Additional Secretary General of TNFJ Col. (R ) Sakhawat Hussain Kazmi was also present on the occasion. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that Pakistani diplomats must learn from Indian diplomacy who is earning benefits from everyone including Saudi Arabia, Iran, USA and Russia. It is critically important that Pakistan must not put all its weight in any specific block or group rather formulate an independent and sovereign foreign policy and maintain equal brotherly relations with all Muslim states. He said that the arrest of an in service Indian agent is an extraordinary incident. Why is the French President quiet now who had asked Pakistan to do more after Pathankot’s incident? The rulers of western states have fallen into Indian trap. Pakistan must update the western opinion about the Indian support to the TTP and ISIS which is affecting European people also. A comprehensive and effective diplomatic as well as media campaign is needed for this purpose. Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that the tragic incident of Gulshan e Iqbal Park was not an attack on Christians but it was an attack on Pakistan where the number of Christians died is only the one fifth of the number of Muslims who lost lives in this incident however; Indian and western media still used it to prove that minorities are insecure in Pakistan. He said that our rulers must realize that USA is Pakistan’s enemy and a friend of India. Ignoring the report of American Assistant Secretary Miler that declared Pakistan’s nuclear assets as most safe, and John Kerry’s praising Indian nuclear program is a clear proof of Amercian hypocrisy and impartiality. The phone call of Obama to Nawaz Shareef after the tragic incident of Gulshan Iqbal Park can only be useful if America stops India from intervention in Pakistan and condemn her support and activities for terrorist attacks on Pakistan.
