Agha Moosavi demanded from the government to tighten noose around banned groups so as to root out terrorism from the country

ISLAMABAD, July 22: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has demanded from the government to tighten noose around banned groups in real terms so as to root out terrorism from the country and for the final success of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb launched by the Pakistan’s Armed Forces and the National Action Plan. These elements have been rejected by the people despite they were allowed to contest the recent elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, he added.

Agha Moosavi lamented that these rejected elements were not only working with new names but were also seen sitting in TV talk shows and government programmes while poor religious leaders from different districts are being arrested and put in schedule-4 on the contrary which is tantamount to violation of the spirit of National Action Plan and sabotaging the Operation Zarb-e-Azb. This was stated by him while addressing the 72-member delegation of TNFJ Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa office-bearers and elite. Additional Secretary General of Tehreek Col. (Retd) Sakhawat Hussain Kazmi and other senior leaders were also present on the occasion while provincial secretary general KPK Zulfiqar Haider Jamil presented the organizational report.

The TNFJ chief expressed heartfelt sympathies with the mourning families of the Army Public School Peshawar, Imam Masjid Hayatabad incidents and Shuhada of Pakistan’s Armed Forces. He demanded from the government to immediately arrest the assassins of all those who fell victims to incidents of terrorism in Quetta, Karachi, and elsewhere including that of TNFJ Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa president Sardar Abul Hassan Qazilbash’s brother Sardar Abid Hassan Qazilbash.

Agha Moosavi said that in Pakistan Ali Masjid is the representative Markaz of ‘Wila’ and ‘Aza’ from where disseminating the righteousness in the light of teachings of Muhammad (SAAW) and Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.) is our duty in faith. He said we have accepted poverty ourselves because there is a saying of the Masoom (A.S.) that a giving hand is better than the receiving hand. Our character is like an open book as neither our forefathers became afraid of worldly powers nor we or our future generations could be overcome with fear and made to bow down to their whimsical desires, he added. He said the role of Khadija’s (S.A.) wealth and sacrifices of Abu Talib’s (A.S.) offspring in strengthening the foundation of Islam cannot be forgotten.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi said that everyone should keep it in his mind that righteousness has to emerge supreme at last and evil has to be rooted out, therefore, it is binding on all followers of Jafar Ibne Muhammad (A.S.) to keep in touch with the Markaz and give practical proof of being the supporter of the oppressed and expressing hatred against the oppressors by following the saying of the Amirul Momineen (A.S.). He advised them to follow the ‘Wila’ of Ali (A.S.) and ‘Aza’ of Hussain (A.S.) strictly that guarantee survival here and the Hereafter.
