The Youm-e-Ghazwa Badar was observed throughout the country as Youm-e-Furqan

ISLAMABAD, July 6: The Youm-e-Ghazwa Badar was observed throughout the country as Youm-e-Furqan Sunday on the call of Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi. Religious gatherings, conferences and seminars were organised in Masajid and Imambargahs on this occasion. The central event of the Youm-e-Furqan was held at Baab-e-Fizza in Islamabad under the auspices of District Committee of the TNFJ. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, addressing the gathering presented the special message of the Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi.

Agha Moosavi in his message said that Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) was the Alamdar of Lashkar-e-Islam comprising 313 Mujahideen in the first war between Muslims and atheists at Badar in the second year after Hijrat. On the other, the number of Lashkar-e-Kuffar was many times high than Muslims and Allah gave victory to Muslims despite their low number and lack of resources. The chief of their Lashkar Abu Jehal was killed along with 70 atheists while 14 Mujahideen of Lashkar-e-Islam kissed Shahadat. He said Hazrat Ali Ibne Abi Talib (A.S.) was the source of victory in this first war against atheists and on this basis 17 Ramazanul Mubarik achieved a historic identity. Allah Has also termed this war between Islam and atheism as Youm-e-Furqan, he said adding that the followers of Nabi (SAAW) by defeating the atheist forces made it clear that it is faith that fights and not the armament in the battlefield.

The TNFJ chief said that in Pakistan’s history a time had come when a portion of Pakistan was converted into Bangladesh and then a dictator took over power and promoted biases and sowed the seed of terrorism and gifted Kalashnikov and heroin culture to Pakistan. He said National Action Programme was launched as a result of Army Public School incident and Operation Zarb-e-Azb was also started but today expressing dissatisfaction by the highest court on non-implementation of the National Action Plan provides food for thought. He said the jawans of the Pakistan’s Armed Forces are presenting sacrifices of their lives in a large number while are busy in breaking the back of terrorists and the whole nation is standing in their support behind them but the dream of restoring peace cannot come true unless the rulers and politicians give up their double standards and give priority to the national cause over their personal and party interests.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariay Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi recalled that July 5 also reminds us the Shahadat of Muhammad Hussain Shad who was shot dead during a protest of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya at Islamabad Secretariat and as a result gave good news of thwarting the design of dictator Gen. Zia to turn Pakistan into a Maktabi State.

Others who also addressed the Youm-e-Furqan gathering were Syed Bu Ali Mehdi, Zulfiqar Raja, Farhat Shah and Naeem Kazmi while Prof. Ghulam Abbas presented a resolution, which was unanimously approved by the gathering. The resolution criticized the razing to the ground the Jannatul Baqee and Jannatul Moallah and Nabavi signs in the garb of expansion. The resolution said that Ramazan 17 also marks the Youm-e-Wisal of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Aisha (R.A.) whose Mazar is also in a dilapidated condition in Jannatul Baqee today and provides food for thought to the whole Muslim Ummah. The resolution said that Muslims will remain upset unless the dignity of the holy shrines of the Mashaheer-e-Islam is restored.
