The Muslim rulers should play active role in restoration of honour and dignity of the Islamic memorials – Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, August 10: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has called upon the Muslim rulers to break their criminal silence and take practical steps for the restoration of honour and dignity of Nabavi signs and great Islamic memorial including the place of birth of the Rasool-e-Khuda (SAAW) so as to strengthen the demands for annexation of Al-Quds Al-Sharif and reconstruction of the Babri Masjid. He stated this while delivering a special address at Al-Murtaza in connection with the International Ashra Sadiq Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.).

Agha Moosavi said the world knows that every revolution and development needs preparedness and knowledge’s abode without which no revolution could succeed or become sustainable. He said Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) prepared himself to strengthen the Asaas of Nabavi Revolution and trained thousands of pupils and intelligentsia in his institution who were imparted his spiritual guidance and leadership. He said the Maktab Jafar Ibne Muhammad (A.S.) played a key role in academic and intellectual awareness and imparted education and training to thousands of pupils including world renowned Father of Chemistry Jabir Bin Hayan and Imam Abu Hanifa who are the beacon of light for the whole world even today. He said may life attempts were made on Sadiq Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.), his home set ablaze, he was sent in exile from the city but, through his deeds, he told the world of humanity that neither his forefathers bowed down nor he can be diverted from the righteous path and ultimately kissed Shahadat in for this ‘crime’.

The TNFJ chief paid condolences to the world of knowledge and wisdom and followers of Fazeelat and spiritualism on the Shahadat of Imam Sadiq (A.S.) and expressed grief that some evil people of that oppressive generation are still imposed as rulers on different countries the punishment of whose sins is being borne by the Muslim Ummah today. He said not only Khanwada-e-Risalat are resting in Jannatul Moallah and Jannatul Baqee but shrines of Ummahatul Momineen (R.A.), Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and Hazrat Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S.) are also lying destructed and this activity was still going on. He said the same story of oppression has been repeated in Afghanistan, Iraq, Damascus, Libya, Egypt, Nigeria, and Somalia while the terrorists had blown up a 700-year-old Masjid related with Khanwada-e-Risalat with bomb which poses a question mark on the Muslim honour. In these circumstances how we can protest against desecration of Al-Quds Sharif and destruction of Babri Masjid, he asked.

Agha Moosavi said the rulers of motherland Pakistan that came into being in the name of Islam are keeping silent on the destruction of the 700-year-old Masjid. He said keeping silent is considered the semi-consent, therefore if the powers that be really desire to follow Islam and made Pakistan the citadel of Islam then they should raise their voice for the restoration of the dignity of Nabavi signs in all Muslim States and holy shrines of Ummahatul Momineen (R.A.), Sahaba Kubaar (R.A.) and Ahle Bait Athaar (A.S.) like the voice was raised for Al-Quds Al-Sharif and Babri Masjid. They

should raise this most important issue at the United Nations, International Court of Justice and other international institutions otherwise they should be ready for more problems and difficulties.

Meanwhile, protest and Matmi demonstrations and rallies were taken out for the restoration of dignity of the holy shrines and Nabavi signs throughout Pakistan under the auspices of Mukhtar Organisation Sunday in connection with the International Ashra Sadiq Aal-e-Muhammad (A.S.). In London, protest demonstration was staged in front of the Saudi embassy while protest demonstrations were also staged in America, Germany and other countries.

In Federal Capital Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Matmi protest rallies were held. Mukhtar Organisation (MO) took out a peaceful Matmi rally from National Press Club Islamabad. Later, the participants of the rally dispersed peacefully.
