Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH) accepted martyrdom but did not bow down in front of the tyrant rulers of his era

In order to take stand against oppression and barbarity, the pious character of Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH) is the beacon of light – Address of Syed Qamar Zaidi, Allama Matloob Taqi and others to the Majalis of Aalmi Ayyam e Babul Hawaej

ISLAMABAD, May 25: As per the directives of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH), the seventh heir of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), continued on the second day throughout the country and worldwide. On 25th Rajab Matami processions will be held in small and big cities and towns of the country.  Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing to the Majlis e Aza held under the auspices of Khanwada e Moosvian and organized by Malik e Ashter, said Hazrat Imam Mousa Al Kazim (PBUH) in his knowledge, honour, dignity, courage and bravery, was the true inheritor of his father Imam Jaffar Al Sadiq (PBUH). He was the most learned and generous person of his time, his literary composition “masnid e Mousa Kazim” remains popular; residents of Madina called him Abd e Sa’aleh. Allama Zaidi said that the most part of his life was spent in captivity; the tyrant ruler was always looking for some excuse so that he may execute him, for this purpose he appointed a very harsh and tyrant guard who was especially directed to find any proof to defame the pious character, piety and dignity of the Imam (PBUH) but every guard after observing his piety become his devotee.

Mufti Basim Abbas Zahiri while addressing to the Majlis said that Imam Musa al Kazim (PBUH) was administered a poison by the cursed person named Sundi Bin Shahaq. After the martyrdom of Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH) his chains and handcuffs were removed while his corpse was picked by four labours were left on the bridge of Baghdad. He said that Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH) accepted to lay his life but did not bow down in front of the tyrant rulers. Sardar Tariq Ahmed Jafferi said that Imam Musa Kazim spent most of his life in imprisonment and turned prison into places of worship, whose pious character is the beacon of light for the oppressed world. Syed Joan Ali Mash’hadi and others also addressed to the Majlis. To conclude the Majlis, the replica of the coffin of Imam (PBUH) was brought out in. Matami Sangat of Dina and Rawalpindi participated in Matamdari.

Allama Syed Matloob Hussain Taqi while addressing to a Majlis e Aza held at Darbar Sakhi Shah Peyara Chohar Harpal   said that said that fifty five years of life span of Imam Musa Al Kazim (PBUH) is full of courage, bravery, determination and steadfastness. Dictators and oppressors of his time tried every tactic in the book but could not bow him down. Due to this, he had to accept imprisonment, oppression and barbarity at the hands of the tyrant rulers with great patience, and proved that offering life in the way of Allah, for the protection of the religion and to dignify humanity is a way of life for the courageous supporters of truth. In their books, martyrdom is interpreted as eternal life for which they are always ready, believing martyrdom to be the pinnacle of worship.  Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, Zakir Shoukat Hussain Neyar, Zakir Zafar Iqbal Zafar, Zakir Malzam Hussain, Zakir Ashoor Hussain Notak and other renowned Ulema and Zakreen also addressed to the Majlis. On this occasion while condemning  bomb blast in the heart of Islamabad, demanded from the government that it should tight noose around the banned groups who are taking advantage of the disputes between the national institutes and are busy in their heinous activities. In another resolution solidarity was expressed with the armed forces of Pakistan. While condemning blast on the shrines of the pious companions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) in Syria, Bahrain and Libya demanded from the OIC that it should take steps to ensure the security of the shrines of the pious personalities of Islam and should also play its role to restore the former glory of Jannat al Baqi and Jannat al Moala.
