Ayatollah Baqar Shirazi dies in 100
years of age; Agha Moosavi announces ‘Youm-e-Tarheem’ Friday
ISLAMABAD, May 15: The great scholar of the Shi’ite world Hazrat Ayatollah Al-Uzma Syed Baqar Shiraz passed away in Holy Qum, Iran. He was 100. The Patron-in-Chief of the Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has declared his death a great scholarly loss. Expressing his heartfelt condolences with the Khanwada-e-Shirazii he announced to observe ‘Youm-e-Tarheem’ on Friday, May 16.
