Agha Moosavi strongly condemned Police raid on Minhaj ul Quran Secretariat in Lahore ISLAMABAD, June 18: While strongly condemning Police raid on Minhaj ul Quran Secretariat in Lahore, and torturing of civilians including women; the chief patron of Shia Ulema Board Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has expressed condolences on the loss of lives. In a statement issued from the Head Quarter of Matkab e Tasheyyo he said that our armed forces are dealing with a critical situation where they are fighting against our internal enemies and offering sacrifices for the protection of Pakistan and our beloved homeland has been cordoned off by our external enemies, the Punjab Police raid on Minhaj ul Quran is an attempt to sabotage Pak Army's Zarb e Azab operation and will only strengthen our enemies. Agha Moosavi appealed to the national parties that they must demonstrate restraint and patience instead of arrogance and take wise and logical steps as if the army operation is impeded, it will cause great damage to Pakistan. He said that staging protests is a constitutional right however, we must remember the situation of 1977 when dictatorship took control of power after the excessive protests, and Pakistani nation is bearing its brunt even today. Therefore, giving calls for mourning, strikes, and protests is unwise. Whole nation must get united to support Pakistan's armed forces who are eliminating the enemies through their successful operation. He paid condolences for the victimised members of Pakistan Awami Tehreek and demanded from the government to create a high level Tribunal to impartially probe into the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice. |
