Agha Moosavi condemned the attack on the Zahirin in Taftan, the provisional government has completely failed to provide security

ISLAMABAD, June 9: The Patron-in-Chief of Supreme Shia Ulema Board and chief of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that reply of government’s sincerity in dialogue through terrorist attack is an open challenge for the State. He said rapid terrorist incidents like attack of army officers in Fateh Jang, holy with the blood of Zaireen in Taftan, Karachi Airport, attacks have proved that the terrorists can target anyone wherever they so like. He said colonial powers are afraid of Muslim unity. There if no Shia-Sunni conflict anywhere in the world including Pakistan, Syria, and Iraq and Pakistani people have many times announced their hatred against terrorist organisations who use the name of Maslak in elections. He said media, government and opposition should avoid presenting terrorist groups as representatives of Masalik. He expressed these views while giving his reaction on Karachi situation.

Agha Moosavi said after the Mehran Base carnage, the Karachi Airport terrorism attack have unveiled the security lapses. He demanded immediate formation of Enquiry Commission for the Karachi Airport incident because, he added, a conspiracy is always hatched from within, therefore it is absolutely necessary to investigate these incidents completely. He expressed concern that terrorists desire to destabilise Pakistan by playing the game of fire and blood. On the other hand, we are lurching alone on international level by keeping a distance from long-standing friends like China.

The TNFJ chief said the government tried hard to settle the issues through dialogue but the terrorists tried to stab in the back of Pakistan proving the saying of the Masoom (A.S.) correct that “Avoid the evil of those you do good to whom”. Therefore, he added, all patriotic parties should give up their mutual differences and unite on one-point agenda for the protection of Pakistan and give up the impression of conflict among the institutions. He said Pakistan has been made a laughing stock on terrorist attacks on Karachi Airport and Taftan Zaireen. The government should take immediate steps by taking the Parliament into confidence so as to root out terrorism and tighten noose around banned organisations and unveil the foreign countries involved in terrorism besides taking up this issued on international fora.

Meanwhile Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, through a letter, demanded from the Balochistan government to lay out a comprehensive plan to provide fool-proof security to the outgoing and returning Zaireen caravans, a high level committee should be formed to implement and monitor that plan. The Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya is ready to offer any cooperation required from them in this connection. Meanwhile, it said that earlier the caravans and personalities setting out for Ziarat used to get verification certificate from Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya, therefore, it is requested that that methodology may be reintroduced because all personalities going through caravans are not dependable otherwise deportations at borders would not have become the order of the day. The letter further demanded that complete arrangements be made to deliver the bodies of the Shuhada of Taftan incident, treatment facilities may be extended to the injured, arrangements for taking care of Khanwadas of the Shuhada be made and terrorists responsible for this incident should be dealt with strictly.
