The proposed plan to destruct the place of birth of Rasool-e-Akram (SAAW) is inhuman act and an attack on the honour and dignity of the Islamic World – Hamid Moosavi

ISLAMABAD, February 24: The Patron-in-Chief of Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has declared the proposed plan to destruct the place of birth of Rasool-e-Akram (SAAW) an inhuman act and an attack on the honour and dignity of the Islamic World and announced to observe “Youm-e-Azmat Sha’air Allah” in this connection on February 28. He appealed the Islamic World to raise the voice of protest against destruction of place of birth of the Hazoor-e-Akram (SAAW) in the garb of extension of holy Islamic cities of Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah.

In a statement issued here from the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tashih, Agha Moosavi said ensuring the respect of Sha’air Allah for rooting out terrorism, and getting rid of international satans and dictators is Quranic commandment and norm in faith. He said the live nations not only remember their Mashaheer rather it is their habit to respect everything attached with them. He said it is unfortunate for Muslims that they are not only committing desecration of their Mashaheer rather they are bent upon rooting out their old heritage the respect of which is declared a part of their Taqwah.

Agha Moosavi said that this unfortunate act began in 1924 with the destruction of holy shrines of Rasool’s (SAAW) in Jannatul Moallah and shrines of Khulafa-e-Rashideen, Ummahatul Momineen, Ahle Bait Athaar, Sahaba Kubaar including Hazrat Ayesha, Hazrat Hafsa, Hazrat Usman Ghani, and Dukhtar-e-Rasool Hazrat Syeda Fatima Zehra (S.A.) in Jannatul Baqee. In the name of expansion, they razed the mosques named after Sahaba Kubaar in the plains of Badar, Khandaq and Uhad, the home of Ummul Momineen Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra was razed to ground and now the place of birth of Hazoor-e-Akram (SAAW) is likely to be destructed. He questioned that where have the Arab League, OIC gone and what happened to the honour of Muslims?

The TNFJ chief lamented that Saudi rulers desire to impose their own belief on the whole Muslim World, it is Saudi Arabia that is responsible of colonial oppression against Muslim States. What is happened and what is going on at present in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Egypt, Bahrain and now in Syria is the result of wrong policies of Saudi Arabia, he added. He said in Pakistan those who attacked the shrines of Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Sakhi Shahbaz Qalander, Data Darbar, Bari Imam, Rehman Baba and other religious elders are the same terrorist groups who carried out attacks on the Rozas of Hazrat Zainab Binte Ali (S.A.), Hazrat Hijr Bin Addi (R.A.), Hazrat Ammar Yasir (S.A.) and other Sahaba Kubaar and are bent upon rooting out holy shrines and Islamic signs in Makkah and Madinah.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi demanded the United Nations and other international organisations to declare Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah as international cities. He also called upon the international organisations responsible for protecting heritage to play their role in getting the dignity of the Islamic signs and holy shrines restored in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, TNFJ central committee has been formed to organise programmes for the Youm-e-Azmat Sha’air Allah. Allama Abu Al-Hassan Taqi has been nominated as convener, Dr. S. Zaman as deputy convener, Malik Ali Furqani as secretary and Syed Samar Al-Hassan Naqvi as deputy secretary on this committee.
