President of TNFJ KPK assassinated as a result of targeted killing in Qisa Khawani Bazaar Peshawar; TNFJ announces three days of grief

ISLAMABAD, February 5: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced three-day mourning on the Shahadat of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya who was assassinated by terrorists in a firing incident in Qissa Khwani Bazaar in Peshawar on Tuesday. In a statement issued here from the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo, Agha Moosavi said the gory murder of third Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya poses a question mark for the powers that be in which innocent citizens are being vanished through target killing. Earlier, he said, Sardar Mumtaz Qazilbash in Peshawar and Jawwad Hussain Jawwad in Dera Ismail Khan were fell victim to terrorism. He said we are being punished for our patriotism.

Agha Moosavi reiterated his resolve that even we all are killed but will never let the religion and the motherland killed and will continue our peace policy. He said our combined enemy desires to push us towards a civil war but we will have to prove through our words and deeds that we share grieves and happiness and no power on earth could create rift between Sunnis and Shias. He said we are being tested for the last 30 years as the acts of terrorism that began from axe culture were later turned to terrorism, suicide attack and now turned into bomb blasts.

The TNFJ chief said we always give priority to integrity of the nation and the country, supremacy of the religion and Shariat and dignity of humanity and keep our workers away from jalao-gherao, strikes and hooliganism but our gentlemanliness is considered as our weakness. He said the reason behind our peaceful policy is Islam, Pakistan and its people that is why we keep their integrity supreme over all other matters. He said the murder of provincial president of the TNFJ and other incidents of terrorism provide food for thought.

He demanded from the government to raise the issue of terrorism on high level and lodge protest with the foreign countries involved in this heinous activity and are engaged in their war on our soil. He also called upon the people to remain alert and prove through their deeds that there is no Maktabi conflict in Pakistan, we are all united and will thwart every conspiracy of the enemy through our unity. He demanded from the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government to give exemplary punishment to the assassins of Sardar Asghar Jeo and tighten noose around 63 banned groups.

Meanwhile, the TNFJ Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa President Sardar Ali Asghar Jeo was buried in Peshawar. The funeral prayers of the Shaheed were offered at Imambargah Haji Malik Rehman Mohallah Marvi Peshawar Tuesday evening. Allama Syed Hussain Muqaddasi, special representative of the Patron-in-Chief of the Supreme Shia Ulema Board Quaid-i-Millat Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi delivered the condolence message of the Quaid-i-Millat Jafaria to the bereaved family.

Those who attended the funeral prayers are: TNFJ Secretary General Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, Jafariya Action Committee Convener Col. (Retd) Sakhawat Kazmi, Speaker TNFJ Syed Bu Ali Mehdi, Allama Ejaz Hussain Madras, Allama Abu Al-Hassan Taqi, Syed Haji Mukhtar Hussain Shah, Meesam Tammar, Maj. (Retd) Hasnain Haider Kazmi, TNFJ provincial president General Secretary Zulfiqar Haider Jameel, provincial Nazimul Umoor Agha Abbas Ali Kiyani, provincial Commander Mukhtar Force Agha Nawaz Ali Kiyani, central President Mukhtar Organisation Malik Ali Furqani, Mukhtar Students Organisation Acting central president Zunnorain Haider, elite from the religious organisation, representatives of Markazi Anjuman Tajraan Peshawar, renowned personalities from different schools of thought and thousands of others.

A protest rally was staged by thousands of workers of TNFJ and its subordinate bodies MFP, MSO and religious organisations. The leaders of these bodies addressed the protesting workers who later reached the graveyards near Imambargah Dar-e-Abbas and dispersed peacefully after the burial of the TNFJ provincial president Shaheed.
