ISLAMABAD, March 3: The chairperson of Ummal Banin WF, Ume Laila Mash’hadi said that the federal and the provincial governments are not doing anything apart from a lip service due to which the incidents of terrorism are continued. She expressed her views while condemning the incidents of target killings in Peshawar and Karachi. She said that the terrorists are following the agenda of America, India and Israel who want to weaken the foundation of Pakistan. The murders of the journalist of the daily Jang and Geo, Mumtaz Malik and Mahmood Afridi of Qalat Press Club are also an act of these powers. Ume Laila Mash’hadi said that a strong Pakistan is a mole in the eye of the enemies of the motherland. The terrorists want to put a stop to the development and the future prosperity of Pakistan. They are not the enemies of a particular section of the society, tribe, province or city rather they are the enemies of Pakistan. There is no day go by when blood is not being shed in Karachi and the same situation is in the rest of the cities. Last day, a renowned Azadar Akbar Ali Mir was shot but the rulers and the politicians are busy in their political deals; there is no one to care for the poor public. She said that in order to root out terrorism, the rulers would have to give up softly approach; they will also have to give priority to the religion and the country over their own political gains. She also demanded that the Anti Terrorism Act must be enforced.
