ISLAMABAD, March 3: The Spokesman of the TNFJ, while highly condemning heart crushing incidents of assassination of the journalists while they were performing their duties and the target killing of renowned Azadar and a trader’s leader, Akbar Ali Meer in Peshawar, demanded that the assassins should immediately be arrested and be given exemplary punishments. In his address, he said that the basic purpose of assassinating the president of Qalaat press club; Mahmood Afridi and journalist from Miran Shah, Malik Mumtaz is just to suppress the voice of truth. Thus the rulers should immediately arrest the criminals of these incidents and should be given exemplary punishments. The Spokesman of the TNFJ made it clear that attack on any citizen of this beloved land, the judiciary, the administration, the security institutions, journalism, mosques, Imam Bargahaz or any other national institution is basically attack on the sovereignty of Pakistan. He said that our enemy wants to torture our citizens so that all started screaming that Pakistan is not a safe land to live and that is how our enemy wants to destroy us. According to the recent speech of the American defence minister, India has created a war like situation for Pakistan while Pakistani leaders are out to declare India as their most favourite nation in a condition where India is exerting all efforts to damage Pakistan. Past history is evident that India first detached half of Pakistan and now proliferating terrorism in our country through sea and land routes. He asserted that India is surely involved in the continued terrorism in Quetta and Karachi including all over the country so that she could deviate our attention from the real issues. He expressed anxiety over the current scenario that our politicians and leaders are busy in blame game and have almost destroyed the entire internal system. He also asserted that in both the All Parties Conferences, the banned groups were present which will strengthen the terrorists’ organizations. The Spokesman stressed that every victim of the incidents of terrorism is son of this soil and our grievances and sorrows are common. He said that rulers have adopted double slandered, on one hand they set the terrorists free while on the other hand they asked them to surrender. The same way, on one hand they highly condemn America while on the other hand they enjoy parties with American ambassador for which media is evident. He said that to root out terrorism, the rulers and the politicians will practically have to show hatred against the banned groups and will have to give up hypocrisy.
