The fulfilment of the rights of the recognised schools of thought must be ensured - TNFJ

The Founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah foreseen in 1948 the conspiracy which was being hatched to divert Pakistan from its real ideological path; the government should devise a law against terming any recognised school of thought a non-Muslim a cognizable offence - resolutions of the two-day high-level meeting of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, March 02: The two-day high-level meeting of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan and its subordinate bodies concluded here Friday after adopting resolutions on important national and international matters unanimously. According to the Central Spokesman of the Tehreek, the participants of the meeting resolved that fulfilment of rights of the recognised schools of thought is necessary to put Pakistan at the highest level of development because they both are being ignored to-date. Chairmen of a particular school of thought are being inducted in all State institutions including the Islamic Council of Ideology which is not fair. They demanded from the government that the leadership of all important national institutions should be given to all recognised schools of thought and the Maktab-e-Tashih may be given representation on the basis of equality.

A resolution said the Founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah had foresaw in 1948 that conspiracy is being hatched to divert Pakistan from real ideological path. That is why he had repeatedly made it clear that Pakistan is such an Islamic welfare State where all schools of thought will be given their rights on the basis of equality. The resolution lamented that barbarism in place of democracy, discrimination in place of equality, and terrorism in the name of tolerance are being promoted in the country contrary to the principles of the Founder of Pakistan which is also contrary to the Nazria-e-Asaasi. The resolution said the elements desirous of keeping Pakistan away from its real Asaas are involved in anti-State activities right from the beginning, that is why making of the country’s constitution was delayed, therefore, the Objective Resolution was designed and got approved and is included in Pakistan’s Constitution; the 11 points of the Objective Resolution explain the Nazria-e-Asaasi to some acts. But elements opposed to this ideology presented excuses to present arguments to keep the religion and politics separate so as to fulfil their nefarious designs. To thwart these elements 22 famous points of 31 renowned ulema were brought to the fore in which only two ulema were included from the Maktab-e-Tashih; i.e. efforts were made to push the Maktab-e-Tashish towards the wall and these efforts are still going on unabated.

The resolution continued that in 22 points, contradiction to the Nazria-e-Asaasi began by terming a particular sect’s public law. In the 1962 Constitution, the name of Pakistan was proposed as Republic of Pakistan deleting the name of ‘Islami’ from it, however, the Objective Resolution remained included in the preface of the Constitution. Moreover, an Islamic Advisory Council was also formed in which no member was included from the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo. After the Ayub’s martial law, when the 1973 Constitution was approved, Islam was declared as the official religion of the country and it was made conditional that President and Prime Minister will be Muslims and the definition of a Muslim as per the Constitution was considered that one who believes in Tauheed, Risalat, Quran, Sunnat and Khatam-e-Nabuwwat is a Muslim.

The resolution said that one who accuses any recognised school of thought of atheism or raises slogans against them is a violator of the Pakistan’s Constitution. Therefore the followers of all Fuqaha are recognised schools of thought and their negation is the negation of Islam. The resolution demanded from the government to include a provision in the bill under debate at the National Assembly that “Terming recognised schools of thought as non-Muslim will be a cognizable offence”. The resolution reminded that when a controversial Shariat Bill contrary to the thoughts of Quaid-i-Azam and Allama Iqbal was introduced during the Zia’s martial law, it was the TNFJ that adopted a point of view contrary to them saying that there is no need of any Shariat Bill in the presence of 1973 Constitution. Therefore, the TNFJ is still stuck to its point of view that none of the bill could be superior than the Constitution nor Maslak of one could be imposed on the other.

Yet another resolution made it clear that owing to the efforts of the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya an explanatory note was got included in Article 227 of the Constitution that the explanation of the Quran and Sunnah would be the one that is considered correct and verified by the every Maktab as a result of which the motherland is Islamic Republic of Pakistan becoming a symbol of Nazria-e-Asaasi and the image of Quaid and Iqbal. The participants of the meeting strongly condemned Drone attacks in the frontier regions of the country and demanded from the government to take up these issues at the United Nations and the ICC.

A resolution expressed grave concern that the United Nations was only playing the role of the American slave, her double standards viz. the Islamic World and Hippocratic attitude against them is no more a secret. If they keep sympathy with Pakistan then why they are carrying out Drone attacks against them? And why the innocent people are being targeted for terrorism? The resolution made it clear that no foreign country has any right to offer visas to Pakistani citizens. If anyone has sympathy with Pakistan they should extend their cooperation so as to root out terrorism. The resolution particularly asked the countries extending support to terrorists and providing them financial assistance to stop doing so and do not turn the Pakistani soil into their own battlefield. The resolution said in most of the countries tyranny was imposed in the garb of democracy, discrimination between Arab and non-Arab is being increased, international colonial powers are targeting the Muslim States one by one and Pakistan is their actual target but, the resolution added, representative organisation of Islam the OIC has tightened its lip, therefore, people of the Muslim States will have to get rid of their rulers who are playing agent for colonial powers to see an end to their problems and woes.

Another resolution expressed heartfelt solidarity to the movements of independence going on throughout the world, particularly the oppressed people of Kashmir and Palestine. The participants of the meeting reiterated their resolve to follow any line of action given by Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi for achievement of religious rights of the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo, development and solidarity of Pakistan and promotion of unity and brotherhood of Sunnis and Shias. Fateha Khwani and Dua was held for all those who laid down their lives in incidents of terrorism, particularly to the Shuhada of Quetta incident. The meeting besides giving final touches to oncoming programmes also took important organizational decisions during the meeting.
