TNFJ observes the Day of Grief over the attack on Hussainia Madrisa and target killings in Karachi

ISLAMABAD, June 22: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has strongly condemned suicide attack in the Juma congregation at Madrassah Hussainia Peshawar and the target killing of MQM’s MPA Sajid Qureshi, his son and others in Karachi and announced a one-day mourning to be observed on these tragic incidents Saturday. In a statement issued here Friday he said the enemy has bent upon causing harm to Pakistan and desires to push the country towards a civil war utilizing all her energies and laced with all types of armament. He expressed his concern that situation has not changed with the change of the government, faces are new but the agenda is the same old as suicide attacks and target killings are going on unabated.

Agha Moosavi said the statement of the Federal Interior Minister on withdrawing security of important personalities and wave of bloodshed soon after in the country poses a question mark. He said those who carried out suicide attacks in the Juma congregation in Peshawar and the funeral procession in Mardan are not human beings but monsters because no religion allows atrocities. He said mosques, Imambargahs, Nimazis, offices, Bazars, Darbars are no more safe and it seems that the enemy has in mind that the Islamic World can be overcome only by overcoming Pakistan. He, therefore, called upon all national institutions, legislature, administration and the judiciary to give top priority to rooting out terrorism with unison and they will find the whole nation behind them. He said there is no lingual, religious, regional conflict in Pakistan and a terrorist keeps no religion, Maktab and country and is only a terrorist.

The TNFJ chief said that world powers desire to beat up Muslim States, Pakistan in particular, by leaving them alone, therefore, we should display practical unity and brotherhood to thwart their nefarious designs. He said murder of any human being is the murder of whole humanity therefore Day of Mourning should be observed for all those countrymen who lost their lives in incidents of terrorism in Peshawar, Karachi, Quetta, Mardan and elsewhere and besides praying for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace, solidarity with the bereaved families should also be express on that day. He called upon the government once again to adopt a strong strategy to ensure security throughout the country because if our existence is courtesy the motherland.

Agha Moosavi said that had the culprits of the Quaid-i-Azam Residency were sent to the gallows then the present situation may not have been arisen. He said the incidents of terrorism, one after the other, have unveiled the false claims of the government. He said the rulers should keep in mind that nation does not like claims but practical steps. He said all religious and political parties will have to display practical unity and brotherhood. If the government takes concrete measures, Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya and the whole nation would be with them as an advanced force.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that it is the responsibility of the State to protect the country and every citizen of the country and the powers that be cannot skip their responsibility merely by issuing statements. He said access of terrorists to every place is a big question mark for the government. He strongly demanded from the government to ensure protection of sensitive places, places of worship and citizens at all cost while the people should themselves remain alert and make arrangements under self-defence.
