ISLAMABAD, January 28: The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has announced to observe universal Chehlum of all those Farzandan-e-Deen and motherland who kissed martyrdom during Ayyam Aza-e-Hussain from 1 Muharram to 8 Rabiul Awwal on Friday, February 1. According to a handout issued from the headquarters of the Maktab-e-Tasheyyo, he appealed the Islamian the world over to organise Fateha-Khwani and Majalis for all those innocent Pakistani nationals who kissed Shahadat in incidents of terrorism from Parachinar to Mastung and Taftaan, from Quetta and Karachi to Gilgit-Baltistan, jawans of armed forces fell victim to enemy attack on Line of Control and western borders, Muslims fell to colonial aggression in Kashmir, Iraq, Palestine, Burma, Syria and Bahrain, Zaireen of holy places, and death of all Momineen and Muslimeen with any discrimination on the basis of Maslak or Maktab and pray for the departed soul. During these gatherings, prayers may be offered for patience to the bereaved families of Shuhada, development, solidarity and success of the motherland and voice of protest may be raised against terrorism in Friday congregations.

Agha Moosavi said that enemies of Islam are trying to snub the increasing enlightenment of the religion of Islam with the weapon of terrorism. On one side Muslims are being given a bloodbath from Iraq to Burma and Kashmir to Ghaza while Muslims are being declared terrorists through media, on the other. He said the Islamic World has fallen victim to heinous colonial conspiracy but the Muslim rulers are enjoying the deep slumber and are utilizing all their energy to overcome and wipe out each other instead of rooting out the enemies of Islam. He said it is crystal clear that terrorists were brought up in colonial camps and fed on dollars and even today colonial powers are behind terrorists in Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Palestine and Kashmir. Muslim organisations OIC, Arab League do exist on papers and offices but there is no one to present the case of the oppressed Muslims to the comity of nations.

The TNFJ chief said the motherland was put to terrorism under an organised conspiracy during the Zia martial law and owing to policies of the rulers and politicians this jenny could not be controlled. He lamented that more than three dozen banned organisations were roaming about freely and are adding fuel to the fire by sitting beside media, ministers and politicians. He posed a question to the ministers appealing members of the Parliament that why the existing Anti-Terrorism Act was not implemented?

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi made it clear that government, opposition, media, ulema and people all have to play their role to bring out the people from hatred and terror while government and opposition should sever their ties with banned organisations and should avoid inviting their leaders to media and other forums, Ulema will have to preach righteousness to present the real picture of Islam, and the people will remain alert and express hatred against elements who spread anarchy.

Meanwhile, a TNFJ committee has been formed to organise the arrangements for universal Chehlum of Shuhada of Ayyam-e-Aza. Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi has been nominated as convener, Allama Guftaar Hussain Sadiqi and Allama Matloob Hussain Taqi deputy convener, Shaukat Abbas Jafri secretary, Abid Hussain Shah deputy secretary, and Raja Tauqeer Abbas as assistant secretary.
