ISLAMABAD, January 22: Syed Mazhar Ali Shah Advocate, the General Secretary of Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya Pakistan has said that there is need to be imbibed with the spirit of Mukhtar (RA) to get rid of the colonial powers. These views were expressed by him while addressing the high command of the Mukhtar Force Pakistan in connection with arrangements of country-wide Youm-e-Mukhtar Aal-e-Muhammad (Eid-e-Zehra) being observed on Tuesday, 9th Rabiul Awwal.

Syed Amjad Hussain Naqvi, Supreme Commander Mukhtar Force addressing the meeting on the occasion told the participants that country-wide Youm-e-Mukhtar Aal-e-Muhammad will begin with recitation from Holy Quran and Mahafil-e-Milad will be organised at mosques, Imam Bargahs, Anjumans and religious institutions. Homage will be paid to Hazrat Mukhtar Bin Abu Obaidah Saqafi (RA) in these Mahafil. Special prayers will be offered for the supremacy of the Islamic World, motherland, oppressed and have-nots.

Syed Mazhar Ali Shah said the satanic forces should keep in mind that Islam and Pakistan are not a threat to the world of humanity rather the chief of the satanic forces and her agents have destructed peace the world over and there is need for practical display of the spirit of Mukhtar (RA) to defeat their designs the echoes of which are still shattering the Yazidi courts. He said the motherland Pakistan is being punished for following Islamic ideology and being the atomic power, therefore, there is need for practical display of unity and brotherhood to root out all types of conspiracies and terrorism. He said all the sections of society should be careful and avoid following any irresponsible attitude otherwise the history and the nation would not forgive them.

He said the objective of the Qayam-e-Husain Ibne Ali (PBUH) and sacrifice in the plains of Karbala along with his 72 die-hard near and dear ones was to lace the whole world with justice and fair-play and to root out oppression and brutality. He said a great personality from amongst the followers of Imam Hussain (PBUH), Hazrat Mukhtar Saqafi settled for the supremacy of justice and fair-play and to take punitive action against the oppressors. He said Hazrat Mukhtar struggled to avenge desecration of the Holy Quran, dignity of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP), blood of Imam Hussain (PBUH) and his near and dear one (through restoration of justice and fair-play) and rooted out Yazidiat, tyranny, oppression and brutality. In other words, Hazrat Mukhtar rose to the occasion as ‘Hidden Sword’ for restoration of justice and fair-play. He said the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH & HHP) predicted to his nation that Allah will take revenge from the oppressors by appointing Mukhtar for this purpose.

Syed Mazhar Ali Shah said that the colonial powers and their agents were shedding blood of the innocent people of Kashmir, Palestine, Iraq, and Afghanistan and were exerting pressure on Pakistan for which new tactics are being used, attacks after attacks and blasts after blasts are being carried out. He demanded from the government to tackle terrorism with an iron hand.
