RAWALPINDI, January 19: As announced by the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi, programs of Majalis and Matami processions in connection with Hafta e Ehad O Peyman were held under the auspices of different religious and Matami organizations and institution throughout the country on Friday. In the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, Ulema O Zakireen and Khutba O Waizeen while addressing to the Majalis highlighted the pious character of Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) which, if followed is a guarantee of success in this world and the world hereafter.

Under the auspices of Syed Ameer Hassan Tirmizi a Majlis e Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) was held at Masjid O Imam Bargah Jafariya I-9 Islamabad. Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi while addressing to the Majlis said that the glorious personality of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH & HHP) is the centre of unity and fraternity for the entire Muslim nation. He said that Imam Hassan Al Askari (PBUH) is the eleventh heir of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) who tolerated all types of hardships and torments of the captivity but kept the principles of Islam superior over everything else and, by encountering the tyrants and oppressors of his time with bravery and courage, crushed their heinous conspiracies against Islam. While condemning the heinous crime of target killings of Manzar Imam, students of the religious institute and scores of innocent lives in Karachi, and loss of 18 innocent lives in District Bara of Khyber Agency and declared these highly sorrowful and due to the incompetence of the government. He also appealed to the people to keep themselves away from the banned group and to not let them infiltrate into their daily lives and, by the demonstration of unity and fraternity, fail their conspiracies.

Khatiba Najia Najaf Turabi while addressing to the Majlis organized by Anjuman e Dukhtaran e Islam at Jamia tul Murtaza G-9/4 Islamabad, said that the whole life of Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) was committed to serve the religion while confronting the worst kind of tyrants in his era. She said that in the battlefield the representative of Allah would sacrifice their lives rather than bow down in front of tyranny. She said that in order to free humanity from the claws of tyranny, the oppressed world and the Muslim nation will have to adopt a bold and unified policy. Mohtarma Anjum Nighat and Dukhtaran Hashimi recited the eulogies during the Majlis.

Allama Basharat Hussain Imami while addressing to the Majlis at Imam Bargah Qasr e Khadija tul Kubra, Tarlai Kallan, said that the grandson of the Holy Prophet (PBUH & HHP) Imam Hussain (PBUH) gave a new lease of life to Islam on the scorching desert of Karbala. He said that the sacrifice made by Imam Hussain (PBUH) continues to be a source of inspiration to the Muslim nation. He said that the battle of Karbala is a turning point in the history of Islam and the name of Yazid is forever reviled.
