The bodies of 16 martyrs of the incident of Mastong were handed over to the bereaved families

There were heart rending sights when the volunteers of Ibrahim Scouts and Mukhtar Force moved bodies of the martyrs into ambulances; the effected families should be compensated for their loses; the co-operation of the administration of the Holy family Hospital was commendable; the monster of terrorism is ready to engulf the whole of the nation but the Judiciary is silent – The media talk of the committee of the TNFJ for the incident of Mastong 

RAWALPINDI, January 17: In result of the confirmation of the DNA tests, the bodies of 16 martyrs of the incident of Mastong which took place on 30th December were handed over to the bereaved families under the supervision of the convener of the committee of the TNFJ for the incident of Mastong, Allama Syed Guftar Hussain Sadique. On this occasion apart from the MS of the Holy Family together with the team of doctors and other medical staff, the spokesman of the TNFJ, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi, The president of the TNFJ Rawalpindi regional council, Allama Abul Hassan Taqi, The district president of the TNFJ, Alhaj Ghulam Murtaza Chohan, Allama Zahid Abbas Kazmi, Allama Basharat Hussain Imami, Allama Syed Ikhlaq Hussain Kazmi, Shoukat Abbas Jafferi, Syed Abid Ali Shah and other officials of the TNFJ were present there. There were heart-rending sights, when the volunteers of Ibrahim Scouts and Mukhtar Force moved the bodies of the martyrs from the mortuary into ambulances; the whole of hospital was echoed with the slogans of Ya Saratul Hussain Labaik Ya Hussain (PBUH). After wards the bodies were sent to their respected areas.

While talking to the media on the help counter of the TNFJ Rawalpindi Islamabad, the spokesman of the TNFJ, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi commended the co-operation of the administration of the Holy family Hospital for carrying out the DNA tests and other matters related to the unrecognizable bodies of the martyrs. He demanded from the government to compensate the effected families and it should pay compensation immediately. The spokesman said that on 30th December a heinous terrorist incident took place in Mastong Balouchistan in which the buses of the pilgrims were targeted; in this incident more then 40 pilgrims were killed and scores were severely wounded. At the same night around 11 o’clock, through a C130 charter flight, 19 bodies of the martyrs and nine injured pilgrims were brought to Rawalpindi although they belonged to Dado, Nawab Shah, Khairpur Miras and many districts of Punjab, out of which 16 bodies were transferred to the Holy Family Hospital while three of them were sent to the District Hospital Rawalpindi; all of these bodies of the martyrs were unrecognisable for which, on many occasions, attention of the government was pointed towards carrying out the DNA test. He said that on the directives of the commissioner and the DCO Rawalpindi, the district health institute practically helped to carry out the DNA Test for which we are grateful. He said that in the Holy Family Hospital, the committee of the TNFJ for the incident of Mastong overseen the matters related to the martyrs.

On this occasion while talking to the media Allama Guftar Sadique said that after the incident of Mastong a help desk of the TNFJ was setup on the special directives of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali shah Moosavi which was active till this date and today after the completion of the recognition process, the bodies of the pilgrims were handed over to the bereaved families. He informed that those bodies which were handed over to their respective families were Ghufran Bibi (Attock), Baqir Ali (Dadu), Zawar Hussain (Jalalpur Peer Wala Multan), Mohammad Qasim Naqvi (Rawalpindi), Nazar Abbas (Gujranwala), Waqar Haider (Gujrat), Mohammad Sajan (Nawab Shah), Fazal Hussain (Alipur Muzafar Gar) Syed Nadeem Iqbal (Lalamousa) Razia Bibi (Rawalpindi) Abdul Rashid Jogi (Khairpur Sindh), Nawaz Ali Jamali (Dadu), Bashir Ahmad (Chishtian Bhawalnagar). Allama Sadique while replying to a question said that the body of Dilshad Bibi of Taxila will be handed over to her family on the morning of Thursday due to the late recognition of her body while Mahar Ramzan of Sargodha and another lady from Dadu are still needed to be recognized which will be handed over to their bereaved families after the DNA test. 

Allama Sadique said that after the incident of target killings of the pilgrims who were travelling from Quetta to Taftan on 20th September 2012, we contacted the government of Balouchistan and demanded that the pilgrims should be provided security; upon which we were given written assurance but no effective and solid measures were taken in this regard. He demanded from the governor of Balouchistan to provide extra security to the caravans of the pilgrims, which travel from Quetta to Taftan. He said that had the government handled the banned organizations with iron hand then this terrible situation would not have arisen. He said that the monster of terrorism is ready to engulf the whole of the nation but the Judiciary is silent, He demanded from the government to setup a commission to probe the incidents of Mastong, the Alamdar Road Quetta, Khyber Pakhton kha and Karachi and that the Anti Terrorism Act must be implemented fully.
