Sacking of incompetent Balouchistan government is a milestone, spark of terrorism is still aflame - Hamid Moosavi

Many steps to be taken to root out terrorism from the motherland; the government should ensure implementation of the Anti Terrorism Act; instead of saving state, energies are being utilized to save party objectives; those steps which are harmful for the country and are in favour of the enemy should be avoided; the continuous Indian boarder aggression is a matter of grave concern for the nation; the whole of the nation will prove to be a concrete wall against the archenemy; high level commission should be formed to probe into the tragedies; the banned terrorists elements must be restricted, if they reach into assemblies then they will become headache; gratitude to all those who supported the peaceful protest that followed Alamdar Road incident - Address of the Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi to the scholars from Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, January 15: The Quaid e Millat e Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi has said that sacking of incompetent Balouchistan government and inducing Governor’s rule is a late but right step and would prove and milestone in rooting out terrorism, the government should ensure implementation of its promises as there are still many steps to be taken to root out terrorism from the motherland. The lawlessness and riot are still being reported in geographical sensitive areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, Parachinar, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Southern Punjab, Azad Kashmir, and Karachi, therefore, the Anti-Terrorism Act should be fully implemented and if there are any flaws in it, these should be corrected, accordingly. A high level commission comprising Supreme Court judges should be set up. Continued aggression at the frontiers by India provides food for thought to the nation and the country and an effective strategy should be prepared to defeat our perpetual enemy by taking the whole nation into confidence. Hindu Bunya should not feel that Pakistan is confronted with international issues and there would be no one to confront them as the whole nation would proof itself a concrete wall against the perpetual enemy. All energy is being utilised to protect personal interests instead of protecting the State and politics and those who claim love with Pakistan would have to avoid such matters that may be harmful for the country and the nation and beneficial for the enemy. These views were express by him while addressing a delegation of scholars from Islamabad that called on him under the leadership of Alhaj Muhammad Abbas Zaini.

Agha Moosavi said that we are thankful to all sections of society and the government who supported the peaceful protest that followed Alamdar Road incident and pay tributes to the bereaved families of Hazara community, journalists, and volunteers who displayed patience and preferred peace. He said terrorism is not only an issue of tribes, area, creed and the targets are not only Shias or Sunnis but every section of society, security institutions, scholars, journalists, traders, businessmen, government employees, common citizens, members of the Assemblies, politicians and rulers. He said the Shaheed-e-Jamhooriat former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Senior Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Minister Bashir Balour fell victims to terrorism because the objective of terrorism was to kill Pakistan therefore there is need to find out permanent solution to terrorism as the present steps are good but temporary.

The TNFJ chief lamented that dozens of banned groups were roaming around freely with new names and the situation has reached the extent that they have got themselves registered with the Election Commission which is a cause of concern. He said these banned terrorist elements should be restricted otherwise they will become pain in the neck if they succeeded in reaching the assemblies. He lamented that the bodies of the victims of the Mastung incident are still lying unidentified in Rawalpindi hospitals while no compensation has yet been announced for affected families of the incidents that took place during Muharramul Haram including Dhoke Syedan, Dera Ismail Khan and other incidents. He demanded of the federal government to announce compensation for all these incidents and make arrangements on government expenses to send the bodies of martyrs pilgrims to their respective areas.

Agha Moosavi said the government should not limit her consultation to their allies only on important national issues but should also involve those who are not in power, representative organisations and parties of Makatib. He made it clear that neither the Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh-e-Jafariya supported any lobby earlier nor it will do it in future. Sunni and Shia are main Makatib of Islam who had taken part in the creation of Pakistan and are still defending it, and we will not allow any power to create differences amongst them.

The Quaid-i-Millat Jafariya Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Moosavi the said that the TNFJ kept the flag of peace fluttering high during the last three decades and defeated the efforts of promoting sectarian and Maslaki war in Pakistan like the people belonging to Hazara community did under the policy of the Markaz of Maktab-e-Tasheyyo. He assured the Ulema that practical struggle will continue for the promotion of brotherhood and coherence by following the policy of the Markaz of the Maktab e Tasheyyo.
